Can anyone tell me why i Cant use the new downloads of the wicked whim mod. every time i download it my computer says the file is not really there, but i can download the older version of the mod.

if u are talking about version 155d then I just downloaded & unzipped it & it works fine!

Could be a virus scanner if it detects a suspicious pattern. Skip this version, I assume it has no essential new features.

I got one of the newer versions to work! But can't get any of the June's ones to work! The mod will not work without the new versions! I dont know if it helps but I took some pictures

Do you have some anti-virus software installed? It may report a false positive or WW could contain a virus and be removed for this reason (hopefully not the case, but one never knows).

No I dont! It's weird because it doesn't show up in my downloads but it shows up on winrar. I've never had any problems with any other mod!

You just need to extract the file from Winrar. Its likely your security settings or virus software, which has been the case for the 99% of others who also have this issue if it's not showing at all.

I just have windows defender on my computer.

You will likely need to disable it and see if that will allow you to download. if not, you may need to also go into your computer's security settings as Windows has their own security as well.

It still did not work. it will not even let me move the file. it just says it does not exist.

The issue is definitely your computer's security. You just may need to play with your settings. Lots of people having this same issue with their computers.

Can you open the folder within the explorer (native Windows zip) and copy the files from there? Or update Winrar or try another unzip utility like 7zip or WinZip?

Nope I still can't open  it! I tried to use winzip and I get this message when trying to move it or anything! I'm assuming it must be my computer... but I have no idea how change my settings.

I ended up downloading it on my phone and then moving the files over to my computer! thank you guys so much for the help!
