Im sure people will be aware but for those who are not it seems that Gaming mode on Windows 10 could be causing lag or stuttering issues for some.

According to the post below Microsoft have finally aknowledged the issue and are looking at an Autumn fix.

I have had this issue in occur in Sims4 but strangely not in Skyrim, turning off Gaming mode seems to have fixed the issue for me. (2 weeks testing so far)

Just thought I would mention a possible issue for those that were not aware.

BTW before you ask

1 Windows 10 was installed on my machine when I purchased it

2 I am too lazy to uninstall and install Win 7

3 I have not had any issues in the limited amount of games I play until now

4 Yes I am stupid

5 Please forgive me

To turn off gaming mode press Win + I, choose gaming and then gaming mode and turn off.

Win7 is done, and has been for a while. Simply how it is, and whining about it is literally done to fucking death. Shit's over.

Isn't the Win10 gaming mode deactivated by default?

It's enabled by default.

Now I see it.

I deactivated it already and also set Skyrim as excluded.

Can't even remember having done that.

Boy, I must have been very frustrated to dig into things like that ?
