ringingbellz Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 (Okay, final edit here! Sorry for multiple pings) This works!! Thank you @hex0id for this. What I did: - Downloaded the _SkinTones.package and formatted the folders EXACTLY as described - Opened Sims4Studio and selected all the RLES and RLE2 images that were not skintones (there were no DDS images that weren't skintones). Batch export, then merge the package. I named it _NoSkintones.package - Placed this package in the same spot as _SkinTones.package Penis textures now work in CAS, in nude, and in sex interactions 1

Oops19 Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 I tried this again with no luck, just using Alf-si's package and an empty Mods folder. I also removed the localthumbcache.package file. I'm quite sure that I don't have HQ content for all packages installed. Do I need to convert all Client*Build*.package files with the HQ Converter before I may expect that it works? The converter seems to be broken, though. It stopped a few times after processing the first Client*.packages and I prefer to specify the TS4 folder instead of processing 90 individual files. Maybe I need to duplicate the TS4 folder and remove processed packages before starting it again as it happily converts already converted packages again after restarting it.
guild409 Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 The file skintone from hex0id is unavailable now, can anyone re upload it or send it to me? thanks

Hope it'll help you folks. Tools: 1. Sims4Studio (http://sims4studio.com/board/6/download-sims-studio-open-version) 2. HQ Converter (http://modthesims.info/d/620563/hq-texture-converter-version-2-3-12-16-2018.html) Process: 1. Open TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning.package in s4s, type "DDS Image" in top left filter field and click "filter" 2. When you see only DDS records in the list, click one of them and press CTRL + A (select all) 3. Click "Batch Export" and choose where you save this file and it's name (I leave default Export.package) 4. Repeat 1-3 but for "rle2" (attention no SPACES here) filter and name file like Export1.package 5. Repeat 1-3 but for "rles" filter and name file like Export2.package 6. In s4s top bar "Content Management -> Merge Packages" 7. Click "add" and choose all 3 export packages from previous steps 8. Hit merge and name new file something like "WW_Textures", now you got one merged package with all you need for HQ 9. Spin up HQ Converter and click "Select package...", then choose WW_Textures.package. Conversion process will begin. 10. When converter is done doing it's job, save you file and name it like WW_TexturesHQ (by default it'll be like that anyways) 11. Same as step 6, choose WW_TexturesHQ.package and TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning.package and merge them in one file. This file MUST BE the same name as original otherwise WW will not work, so again - name must be "TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning.package", save this file somewhere else other than your working folder and then you can replace original WW with what you got here. 12. Put the resulting file in your mods folder, overriding original WW. 14. Profit. Good news is WW_TexturesHQ.package may be reused over and over if / when WW is updated (just go from step 11). In rare cases if TurboDriver adds some new textures, the whole scenario must be repeated from step 1. You can delete all temp files like Export... etc and just keep WW_TexturesHQ (outside of your mods folder) for later use. dont know how to use the site exactly, sorry if I quoted the wrong thing....anyway I tried the above and there is only one DDS Image after Warehouse > Filter > "DDS Image" > Filter, everything else is DST Images and Rle2/rles...etc.; furthermore, when I opened up TURBODRIVER_wickedwhims_Tuning.package with S4Studio, it says that WickedWhims is updated past S4Studio's, in other words, S4Studio is not up-to-date, but I have the only version I have been able to find which is on a blog/forum/post from like 2018. Like others, I am just trying to combine HQ with WW...I can post the error message that comes up after loading TURBODRIVER_wickedwhims_tuning.package with S4Studio if needed....or I may be SOL because this thread is 2 years old XD Edited February 16, 2022 by xenochrist1110 oops

Dwjliel Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 Please someone must have WW and HQ mod working together, whenever I do the method outlined in this thread I get an error from WW saying the script and tuning package dont match. 1

It's working out of the box for me. Just don't run your WW stuff through the conversion. In one of Turbo's older posts, it was stated that everything within the WW package itself (aside from skin tones) is HQ ready, leaving only that you'd need upscaled skin tones from a source. If you've properly downloaded the BG and EP07 (if you have it) files from Sims4HQ, you already have these. Likewise, if you're using BTTB as your male body, do not run that through the conversion either. It doesn't affect how WW runs, but it'll give you a weird scrot. -- tldr; There is no reason to do anything to your WW tuning file to get it to work with the HQ mod switch.
