Probably. Did you try a search on the Nexus with keywords like "Children" and "Follower?"

Is there something specific that you want the mod to do that the one mentioned doesn't?

Erm probably No and Kinda, Yes

 

No, most, if not all the "Make Children Followers" mods are very basic and simple and really just designed so you can have a kid npc following you.

But, once one is made a follower then I suspect one of the follower overhaul mods like EFF, AFT or UFO have a feature like that.

 

If not, It's really easy to do in Creation Kit.

 

Note: If the Mod you have to make child NPC's followers removes the Child flag then there are a lot mods here that will stop working because of it.
