Most of my conversions to 3BA and attempts to even replace a really disgustingly done reference on an existing 3BA, end in the body only being useable at zeroed sliders and warping slightly all over the skin every time a slider is moved. This conversion thing is ridiculous and yo. Now im not mad at yall for not converting many outfits. In fact please never convert another outfit again. Flee!

JK, Id actually love to know wtf is up with conversions and why they seem to only be possible for the outfits I see peeps do in tutorials (because they never choose a hard outfit for a tutorial, never) and why do conversions just really not like to be converted for me unless its an outfit I hate?

Have you looked into if its similar to TBW from FO4?

No I have never used that for FO4. I always use the 3BBB KneeFixed setup for FO4

can someone help me im helping this novice modder convert one of his armor mods to se i manage to get everything working on se but now the problem im having is getting the armor to not clip on the body with the -zero slider preset-  and or converting to "cbbe, unp, 3ba, ect" i do have cbpc but he wants it to work without physics too

Can you post some screenshots of the problems?

 

To fix clipping after converting the body shape from an old LE model to a new SE model (3ba). It requires manual adjustments in OutfitStudio using the basic editing tools provided.

 

To get rid of the jiggly tits, the breast, ass, and thigh bones need to be deleted from the project entirely and saved as a new outfit to be built in bodyslide. 

Like: "Chest 3BA (no physics)"

the first one is just idle and the others are jumping the slider im using is curvy and my player body type is 3ba it also dont have ant physics applyed to it

Okay, it seems that the body is only clipping through the clothes when you are moving. This means that you did not copy the bones into the pants. Unless your outfit is occupying Body Slot 32, you need all the bones copied from the base body into the pants. You cannot delete the bones from parts of an outfit that are not in Body Slot 32, or the when the body jiggles it will clip through the pants that are not moving with it.

 

To fix in OutfitStudio:

 

  1. Select everything in the Meshes tab
  2. Right-click and select "Copy Bone Weights"
  3. Most of the time you leave everything set to default on the small window that appears. Click Okay
  4. Right-Click again in the Meshes tab and select "Mask Weighted Vertices"
  5. Done

If it complains about "bone weights not under a mask" or something when you try to save, Repeat everything but in step 3 raise the Search Radius.

 

Basically if something in the pants doesn't get dark when you select Mask Weighted Vertices, it does not have any bone weights painted onto it.

im glad i have a back up because i just found out there is cbbe 3ba body / cbbe 3ba ref / cbbe 3ba ref (sliders only) .... which do i choose also it looks like the modder set the slot to 49

this is what i manage to get so far so i found out that i was loading the osp on bodyslide and not exporting to nif then that my player ingame weight is 0 not 1 even through the moder have two nif 0 and 1 i only over witten 0 and left 1 i this the other clipping in the video is because of me having physics and i dont know how to fix that so if someone does know how and wants to help me let me know because this is all new to me and is already becooming too much for me to understand

Sounds like you just need to save the project so it can be loaded in Bodyslide. This will allow you to Build the outfit for the 0 and1 weights in game. I would suggest you watch more tutorials if you are still new. It seems like you got it working in game without major clipping. This is very impressive for your first work.

so i somehow fixed it but a new question this outfix is unisex and the mail has the same clipping issues do i use the same cbbe body physics refferance or something else

Does the male version of the outfit have it's own mesh? You can use the Himbo mod to get bodyslide and outfitstudio reference files

it has its own nifs live the female ones

 

i do have himbo if i use the refferance with the non himbo users need to down it to for it to work or can they just build it with zero sliders

If you include the files you generated in bodyslide with zeroed sliders. They will not need to download himbo and/or generate there own files. This is what most authors mean when they say" pre-built files included".

I am not familiar with Himbo, I only do conversions to 3BA. The base body looks like it is changing, did you conform all the sliders?

so im waiting for the oc of this mod to get back to me on permission to upload his mod he only had it on oldrim and thanks to demonwolf i was able to get it made and ready i have informed him its ready to go and what i did for and to his mod

so i wanted to port this mod but i cant seem to find who the orginal creator is and if they are of with porting there mods to sseimage.png.9a182232e180d573a0ce25c5074a9b53.png

 

this was from oldrim and i did see someone in the forums provide a dl zip for oldrim but i wanted to see about making it useble for se

thats what i did at first but i manage to 1 - 1 port it but i have no idea how to reshape the body for the players that does not want mellons the size of tires i can share what i have if you know how to do that

I think the base shape is UUNP or BHUNP. This outfit could be converted but it would need a lot of advanced work done

  1. Bodyslide files would need to be made from scratch
  2. Full body shape conversion for all parts
  3. A general rework of the whole outfit to bring it up to a more modern standard
  4. ESP would need an update to enable weight sliders and point to new outfit meshes.

I could do it but i would only want to if there was enough demand.
