jameswerder Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 At a complete loss, Ive been at this for hours as I cannot get collisions to work despite physics working and all other mods working. I assume this is because i cannot use bodyslide. I have installed bodyslide properly following every step for MO2. It is running as administrator as an executable through MO2. Target folder is correct data folder. Nothing is in program files or protected folders. NOTHING ever loads in the presets section, I am using 3BBB amazing body and need to generate collisions settings. However bodyslide is always completely blank. I use MO2 for everything of course. Is there any way to work around this and enable collisions without using bodyslide? Nothing I do has any effect. I have watched 10 videos on youtube and tried everything imaginable including clean reinstalls of all mods. I have tried manually dragging and dropping files from other mods into bodyslides meshes etc folders, and that makes them show up in bodyslide. But building from their seems to have no effect. Using MO2, where the hell are the built files supposed to end up? And for a player using 3BBB, which file am I supposed to be editing to enable collisions for the player model? I dont give a fuck about NPCs at this point. Please save my life, I have spent 6 hours trying to get this program to work at all.

Using MO2, all your files are virtualized - nothing ends up in your actual Skyrim folders. If you "Explore Virtual Folder", you can see an Explorer window which shows you what is actually being used by Skyrim and Bodyslide when they run through MO2. Nothing showing up in Presets suggests to me that you don't have the base CBBE package, Caliente Beautiful Bodies Enhancer, installed in your mod list, since that provides the file data\CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderPresets\CBBE.xml. You can see which files a mod provides by right clicking on it, selecting Information, and looking at the Filetree tab. If that file is NOT showing up when you explore virtual folder - something's wrong with that mod, and you might need to reinstall it. The actual built files end up in your Overwrite folder in MO2. You can leave them there (they'll load after everything else which is fine for Bodyslide), or you can turn it into it's own mod loaded after everything - and future Bodyslide batch builds will write into that mod if it's enabled. (FNIS does the same and can be treated the same.)
jameswerder Posted May 4, 2020 Author Posted May 4, 2020 I have CBBE and 3BBB installed, all through MO2, and nothing shows up in bodyslide's presets. I will try manually moving files and dumping them in overwrite.

Select a normal cbbe body and you should see all the presets, select one and then "save as" then just tick the 3bbb group and overwrite the preset or create a new one
jameswerder Posted May 5, 2020 Author Posted May 5, 2020 I cannot select anything in bodyslide unless I manually move the files from one to the other. there are no groups to tick either, nothing populates in bodyslide despite them all being installed in MO2, in non-protected folders, and I launch everything as admin, and I launch the bodyslide EXE through MO2. Very confused, thanks for reading my post though, hopeful I can figure this out.

(if you need it, your MO2 set up is wrong) , Then did you install recent version 3BBB mod 1.36 (in nexus) ? And BS (OS) have up-dated frequently, did you install recent BS 5.0.6? in MO2 > right plug-in viewer> Data you can see file path from data.. so if you have installed correctly, as default you see these folda and files with mod name. As Illana said, we had needed to add CBBE group for 3BBB group outfit/body for some 3BBB versions. But about recent versions 3BBB, most of outfit/Body (which 3bbb offered) assgined with CBBE already. you can confirm it, open (data)\CalienteTools\BodySlide\SliderGroups\SE 3BBB.xml with your text editor. you see, each member (body/mesh project name) are assgined for CBBE and 3BBB group. (extract each group name9 eg member "3BBB Body SMP ON Object NPC A-cup" are grouped for CBBE , 3BBB, BS slider preset is assgined for each group. then every CBBE preset are assgined for CBBE group. That means,, if you select 3BBB members project, in BS, it show all presets which assgined for CBBE too. So I recommend confirm those,, file path, version,, activate mods which include presets. and try clean un-install and install,, one by one.. (first install Body slider, then install CBBE, ) then check you can see CBBE presets, when you select CBBE body first. after confrim it,, download and install 3BBB, then overwrite all. launch BS from MO2 again. without BS working coreclty,,, you may lost many intresting things with MOD,, it is pity.
jameswerder Posted May 7, 2020 Author Posted May 7, 2020 Thank you mango that is a very helpful reply!!!! I managed to get things working by manually moving the files between folders, but it makes adjustments on the fly a total pain in the ass, and some of my collisions are clearly a little off. I will try these steps asap and let you know. However all of my files should be new, I just discovered this strange addiction during quarantine, and can only work on the mods for a bit each night after my girlfriend goes to bed, I think she would kick me out if she saw what I've done to skyrim lololol. Naturally this means anything I could get off nexus was newest version from 2-3 weeks ago, and anything else was the newest version I could find here. I originally installed CBBE and 3BBB before bodyslide, but I have since reinstalled them multiple times through MO2 and it never made them populate in bodyslide. In the meantime thank you so much, you taught me a lot about how the data section works in one post.
