the topic is either completely irrelevant or completely relevant, I'm not sure.

 

Since the same basic quesiton is posted about once a month, this is either relevant to all those posts and replies, or it's irrelevant because they could have read one of those posts and replied to it.

 

Oh,  I'm sorry I did not make this more convenient.  Would you like a drink and some scones while you read?  Perhaps finger sandwiches and some Grey Poupon?  Maybe an a cappella  cover of Song of the Dragonborn?

 

Damn, I made myself hungry.

 

I'll go look for those other threads now.

well i guess i wasn't clear... It's not a matter of convenience, nor is it a matter of "search the forum"...

 

It's a matter of personal taste. everyones taste is different, so people asking what the best one is is just a head shaker. there will be a ton of replies in varying depths and they will all think themselves absolutely right -- and they are -- because it's pure opinion.

 

Now on a technical level I could probaly tell you what the worst body was based on concrete measurables... poly count, weight painting, availability of outfits, stuff like that.

 

but size and shape of hips? "may as well be arguing about your favorite color."

that A multi bodyshape system was one of the best mod ever made :D

now i can change my body mesh anytime anywhere in game lol

I currently use CBBE, I like ADEC but the textures that are currently released for beast races are pretty bad (which I primary play). On top of that, body change doesn't work with those races, so I just stick with CBBE.

 

I've been wanting to try UNP, but I'm not going to do so until/if bodychange works with elf/beast races.

I used them all they don't work well for me.

 

Appreciate the smartassness though I can dig it. :cool:

I somewhat agree to SeveNbase, but what also counts are the number of mods and stuff you get as support...and therefore CBBE gets my vote. Living without CB++ Bodyslide and DoubleMelon, FantasyBreast and AppleCheeks sliders and loads of converted BBP armors and outfits? Sorry, not possible.

CBBE, mainly because of Bodyslide and CB++ I personally like having the option to control every aspect of my chars body, the thing I don't like about say UNP or CBBE default is if I don't like the breast size or ass size I can change it to my liking, and the ability to have all armor look like that body is great.

I use CBBE, love the flexibility that Bodyslide offers.  I won't touch most other replacers, particularly if they refuse to acknowledge the fact some people play beast races, and outright disable being able to select them in the race menu.

 

I need for my body not a bodyslide, because he is perfect!

it would make no fun, fumbling around for hours until one has put together a perfect body!

But using a cookie cutter body that a thousand other people use is another thing I don't like, customization is a must.

 

 

because thousands use the same body, I do not like him, because I'm not a lemming! do not go with the flow, because it leads into the abyss, rather swim against the current, although it costs power but he leads in safety!

I started out using regular UNP, then went to "UNP Bouncing Boobs - Using CHSBHC BBP" (By AjuntaPall316). Over time, I got sick of the wrist/head/feet misalignment with that body, and it's lack of adoption, which meant there wasn't much armor/clothing support. I decided to check out UNPB, but I did not like the shape of the breasts, and the large size at the extreme end (weight 100). I then went with CBBE BBP (using CHSBHC). I didn't like some of the attributes of the default body options for CBBE when I first tried them (especially the lower body) , but Bodyslide changed everything. From that point on, things like breast size and shape were manageable and I wasn't at the mercy of the default options.

 

Then I discovered Bodyslide++ which meant I could customize either of those two bodies (CBBE and UNP), plus many others, and have them with TBBP. I tried out creating a UNPB body with a better breast shape and preferred size (and I succeeded), but unfortunately, my favorite skin set's UNP version (the Mature skin texture by Maevan2) doesn't work as well with UNPB bodies as the CBBE version works with CBBE variants. There's a bit of a neck seam, whereas the CBBE release is flawless across many CBBE iterations. I tried using TexBlend, etc, to rectify, but only managed extremely minor improvement. Also, I can use Bodyslide to customize the CBBE vanilla clothing releases, which means I can have consistent looking clothing/armor to go with the body.

 

So, as of now, I have a custom CB++ TBBP body with a customized appearance based off of the CBBE preset. The body is using the CBBE version of the "Mature skin texture" set, and there are no seam issues.
