having a hard time trying to fix my serana replacer eyes bug

henlo guys, so here is the thing, I like to use this serana replacer https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16459?tab=posts

but I can't just get serana to look just like the screenshots from the mod page,

tried many things but her eyes are kinda closed and really dark https://gyazo.com/96e28e6974ea492713fa60a851b29eba

So I tried to copy her facegen nif file in my racemenu face presets and I applied it on my character to see if I could sculpt this eyes but then the problem was gone.

Then I thought it was a mod conflict problem so I tried and disabled every texture, body and model mods other than the serana replacer but the problem is still here.

And here I am putting my hope and dreams in you guys since on loverslab everyone seems more dedicated to help each other than on nexus, so does anyone see what's the problem ?

i am guessing the mod of serana has custom eye textures and the ones you use on your character are from a mod or vanilla even, just find her eye textures in mod  folder and replace them with ones from the mod you use on your character, also  rename the eye textures before copying.

Okay so I have a mod called "eyes of aber" installed, the eyes from the serana replacer come from this mod so I tried to change the eyes texture in the serana replacer folder with an other eye of aber (didn't forget to rename) but in game the eyes did not change, I installed pink eyes but it was the red bugged eyes again in game.

So I think my EYES folder in the serana mod isn't really used and then I'd need to change the eyes from somewhere else ? Using nifskope maybe ?

missing environment effect.

most followermods have this problem,missing tangents on the eyemesh,env maps and normal maps are not working.

I fixed lots of facegenmeshes and updated the meshtangents in the Nitrishapedata/Vector Flags - UV Set 1 with the flag "has tangents"

If this done rightclick on the eyemesh and choose mesh/update tangent space.If the texturepath is correct you can see the cubemapeffect in the eyemesh.

Save and overwrite the Facegennif.

thanks for the answer, I'm not quite sure how to do it. I installed nifskope like 1 hour ago.

I'm a bit lost I admit it.

If this the orginal mesh settings than it's ok.Maybe you have only a Texture/path problem.

Check in the BSlightningshaderproperty if environmentmapping is choosen in the Skyrim shader type and shader flags 1.

Than take a look inBSShadertextureset if you have all the textures.

it all makes sense now, so I selected environmentmapping for both skyrim shader type and shader flags 1.

then in BSShadertextureset there miss some path.

ok,now it's done

you can see the cubemapeffect only in nifskope if all the textures are in your texture folder,nifskope don't check the texture.bsa from the game.

Check it ingame. .)

No they weren't.

 

ENBs for each respective versions do different things in very different ways.

 

You can achieve something LIKE that, you are under no such universe getting 1:1 unless Boris does some literal dx11 wizardry that Bethesda could have supported but chose not to because console cash grab.

I'm still a noob so I don't get what's the difference between "just like" and "LIKE" but at least can we just make her eyes as opened as the one in the screenshots ?

Can't open it with my nifskope.

You can do it self,open it and assign the two textures that I uploaded,

Data\Textures\actors\character\R.B&J.B Serana\EYES

eyebrown_n.dds

eyebrown_sk.dds

copy my textures by hand in your texture folder

in nifskope is the correct path:

Textures\actors\character\R.B&J.B Serana\EYES\eyebrown_n.dds

Textures\actors\character\R.B&J.B Serana\EYES \eyebrown_sk.dds

well now she's not bald but...

I tried installing the hair mod just before to copy the hair and I think vortex has messed everything up somehow6abf7ddd08dc563e87971c1fc5dd2c6e.png.bc61cb872aa9cfbed38e46ac1399693d.png

So I did every step until here again and I'm back to the bald point but with the right eyes

 

could it be a problem of insufficient ram ?
