Need help with creating pregnancy supported armor in Outfit Studio

I've recently converted my game to CBBE 3BBB and started using output meshes from bodyslide. The meshes worked fine but most of the armors lacked belly nodes needed for pregnancy. I've started editing them in Outfit Studio, and achieved moderate success with this method:

1- Copy weights from 3BBB body

2- Conform all

3- Crank PregnancyBelly slider to max

4- Do mesh adjustments to fix clipping issues

5- To finalize use "Set Base Shape"

Now I'm aware that I'm doing something wrong, but this has been the first time I've dug into Bodyslide & Outfit Studio (beside just using batch build). Armor meshes I've produced this way seems really good in the Outfit Studio preview, but when I do the exact preview with BodySlide I still get clipping issues. BodySlide preview is what I get ingame too, so it becomes a guessing game to constantly move back and forth between BodySlide and Outfit Studio. And even if i somehow fix it ingame, it just isn't as good as it looks in Outfit Studio.

To finalize can somebody help me to fix this issue or just tell me a better method to make armors pregnancy compatible.

Thank you for reading, have a nice day.

P.S: If you can also help me edit zero-weight armor in Outfit Studio it would be much appreciated!

5- To finalize use "Set Base Shape" - Skip this

This is for set marked mesh shape after a slider is activated. So it will be the default shape.

Ex you have a slider for converting CBBE to UUNP.

1- Copy weights from 3BBB body. Do this last. When you have moved or edited the meshes.

5- To finalize use "Set Base Shape"

1-Delete all weights from armor mesh before

2- Copy weights from 3BBB body

3- Scale bones and check if clipping. Use brushes for adjustments. Shift+mouse = weight soften, Alt + mouse = weight decrease, mouse = weight increase

3- Conform all Sliders

4- Crank PregnancyBelly slider (and others) to max

4- Do mesh adjustments to fix clipping issues

5 - Save the project

Thanks a lot for your help! I think I've manage to do it successfully. but I have another question, can armor's bone weights be different than body bone weights? I don't know why but 3BBB has some drastic CBPC config even with milder settings, and its not really suitable for armors. I've tried various things but all of them resulted in body texture popping out of armor while moving :D

I couldn't understand what did you mean by "scale bones". Could you explain it a bit further?

Select your Armor Mesh in Tab Meshes ->Switch to Bones Tab-> Select a Bone and use the Preview Scaling Slider. Use the Brush, when the body is clipping through the armor.

As Example: Bone Scaling for Pelvis at 200% (default is 100%, but my config) and you see clipping.

I use the brush (like a said before) and this is the result.

Therefore my tip above. And therefore the old bones should be deleted from the Armor before "Copy Bone Weights".
For that in Tab Meshes select your Armor -> Switch to Tab Bones -> Select ALL Bones (select the first bone - hold Shift, scroll down and select the last bone) ->When all bones are selected, right click on a bone -> Delete -> From Selected Shapes.

Now you are ready for Copy Bone Weights.
