Strange... Maybe animation, maybe skeleton, maybe I'm just a boob - issue

Got something weird happening that I don't know how to describe without a picture so there's a picture down below.

It seems like whenever a PC is not standing or sitting either a piece of clothing of it they're naked just part of their stomach sticks up.  If they're face up is protruds upwards like a...  Ahem.  If they're face down like in this image it impails its way through the body.

 

I've FNISed, I've Body Slided - Body Slid? - I've looted and I've backed out all of the recently installed mods and re-FNISes re-Slid and re-Looted and it's still happening.  Where am I going wrong?

 

In case it helps I'm running:

 

  Skyrim LE

  SKSE for LE 1.7.3
  FNIS 7.4.5
  Body Slide / Outfit Studio 5.0.3 according to the link on Nexus, I updated it just to be certain.
  Loot 0.15.1 which is the current version according to the build in version checker.

Which skeleton did you install? Finis log can help with this answer...

And is this also happen with naked body or only with certain armor?

Hi and thanks for responding.  

 

I'm using XPMSE (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68000) and haven't changed that since it was installed back at the end of December 2019.

 

The spike - as good a name for what's happening as any - happens whether the PC is dressed or not.  I assume it will happen with any clothing or armor but haven't checked on more than a few things.  When the PC is wearing something that covers that area of the body the spike shows the texture of the clothing/armor.  When naked or the stomach is exposed the spike shows skin only.  It's as if something is picking one particular pixel and moving it upwards dragging the surrounding texture with it.

 

I looked in what seemed to be the likely spot for FNIS logs but only found one named "DUMMY_FILE_for_NMM_installation_only.txt" from 2012.  I couldn't find any thing giving log file folder locations on the Nexus mod page, so no luck there.  Where should I look for it?

Try reinstall XPMSE

After reinstalling as per @Lestat1627 if you still have an issue:

 

1) make certain that the body type that you are using matches the body type for your clothing, etc. (CBBE vs. UUNP) and

2) rebuild everything in Bodyslide

Finis log is created once run, should be located in FinisBehaviour>tools>GenerateFinis_for_Users>temporary_logs. Depends on what mod manager you are using if this directory is accurate.

 

I would also say to reinstall xpmse skeleton and be sure no other mods are allowed to overwrite this one, if this fixes the problem then no need to go look for that log.

There is a lot of information missing

 

What body?

what physics?

 

This happens only when naked? or does it happen when you are wearing an outfit? 

 

What mod manager are you using? (MO, MO2, Votex, NMM)

I was starting to gather all the information when it occurred to me that there was one mod that got updated - Arousal Based Breast Adjuster for SE (ABBA).  Figuring it couldn't hurt to try disabling it I did so and it appears that's been the issue.  There was a pretty big version jump so when I have a little more time I'll try re-installing the old one to see if the problem recurs, then re-install the new one and if it does pop up I'll take it to the mod author.
