As you can see in my picture, her "Armor" is deep black, but her hair is not. Is there anything i can do like editing the hair texture or changing shader properties in nifscope to get deep black hair? I posted this in the adult section because of her little bit revealing outfit.

It's not rocket surgery.5) File > Save As > Choose .DDS file type.Don't have that? There are instructions around the web about where you can get the nvidia conversion plugins for photoshop.[or... you can send me a bottle of American Honey, tell me the mod that you have where you want the blacker hair, and maybe just MAYBE I'll do it for you. Anyhow, i already chose the blackest hair, the game has to offer. Guess i have to mess around with the texture. The problem i see is that her hair now looks very different under different lighting. In dungeons lit by fire it is far from being black, while her armor always is perfectly black. There must be something wrong with some settings in nifscope as well, not only the texture.
Monsto Brukes Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 sounds like an enb is in there. my enb changes lydia's hair to something like dark blonde. also, to aid you in finding what is jacking up your showracemenu, you might try the Mod Organizer, the mod manager linked in my sig. you can install the mods you currently have just by referring to the dir that NMM uses to store the zips. Then it's as simple as checking on one thing at a time and checking the game until it blows. then you know your culprit.

I would say that if you always get ctd using showracemenu option then you have too many hair mods and or other mods like eye mods. The only time I ever got a ctd/freeze/lag with showracemenu was when I had too many hair mods installed and it can't handle trying to load all of those hair mods at one time. I have used gimp a lot for changing a color of something is works pretty.
Kaleeon Posted February 18, 2013 Author Posted February 18, 2013 Yeah, i guess its too much mods my computer cant handle anymore. But i have to use a Laptop cause i am not at home most time of the year. (business) So i have only 4GB Ram and a Nvidia GTX260. Guess its time to get a new one soon.
myuhinny Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Well I have a acer aspire predator gaming tower and even that has trouble with multiple hair mods. So I have since switched to only having 1 hair mod If I want a different one I just turn the one off and turn a new one on unless that one is needed for other things then I have to leave it on.
Kaleeon Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 After some days of trying this, i strongly recommend not to use the method explained by me earlier. I got a lot of crashes when i load the game, and if it loaded, her skin texture was totally messed up showing strange black triangles. I now edited the hair´s texture in Gimp and all seems to be fine. The result is nearly the same then in my screenshots above.
