When I logged in to play this evening, I received a msg stating that I did not have the most recent update of WW, and was advised to visit the website to dl the newest file (the b version). After reading through the update changelog I decided to do so, but when I deleted the old file, and dropped in the the new file (which I DL'ed from the itch.io link to on your website)/reloaded, I got a msg stating that the version I was using was unrecognized and that I should expect the game to break, etc etc. Unsure of why this happened. Can you advise? Is there something else that I should have done. Thanks in advance for any advice/guidance you might be able to offer. Cheers. PS---seems to be working fine and I received an updated msg stating that I had the newest version. Perhaps this was merely a hiccup? Thanks!
Scorpio Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 There is also a check box with that message, 'do not notify again'. Best to disable this one so you don't jump on a new WW update too soon as it may break other mods that use WW and haven't been updated yet. Or just ignore the message for a few days anyway until more info is available. Also Disable Origin Auto Game Updates to prevent game updates from breaking mods until the mods are updated. Just play offline and keep an eye on new mod versions, and check the forums for more information. I was still using WW 147i up till a few days ago and it was still working fine. So there is usually no need to jump on WW updates so quickly, unless you are getting critical errors. And... keep/save a couple of old versions of WW around in case you need to go back to one.

You may need to update it also.
tyranosaurushex Posted April 10, 2020 Author Posted April 10, 2020 Nope. I do not use WP, though thanks for the insight. It was a msg from WW. Although after further investigation, I learned the following: When I re-loaded the game a second time I got a msg from WW regarding the updated version/saying it had been installed successfully, etc, however whenever I travel to a new location I still receive a msg from the WW mod saying I am using an unsupported version. Everything still works fine, it just blasts the message. I suspect this is because, as Scorpio suggests, I DL'ed the update the day of. Scorpio, I'll try disabling the msg as you suggest, everything appears to be working otherwise anyhow. Thanks for the response.
Naqisa Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 I also get the msg but for me no animations work either. The Sims just appear and disapear next to each other. Its kinda annoying
