Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 So what's your idea of the perfect BASIC sandwich ? I don't mean overly fancy shit, just a basic fuckin sandwich you slap together for lunch. For me: Rye bread (but any works) toasted. Turkey (any kinda cheap sliced sandwich meat that's turkey). Toast the bread, put may on it, season it lightly with whats avalible. Then put honey on one slice of bread. The honey makes the sandwich ten times as good.
sammythesquirrel Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 whatever sliced bread is available toasted then spread with butter on one side melt on cheese and pile on some roast beef fresh from the oven
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted February 15, 2013 Author Posted February 15, 2013 That also sounds fucking awesome. And why the sandwich is so fucking great, so hard to fuck up if you take your time and think for a second.
Jerbsinator Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Peanut Butter and Jelly! Also if available I am fond of Montreal smoked beef with mayo, sometimes with mustard and sauerkraut.
Dee383 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Hot Rolls With Warm Guey Mature Cheddar Ouzing Out Of Them Or Mature Cheddar Chese With Red Onion + Mayo Sandwiches ... Damn Made Myself Feel Hungry Now !
Emily Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 slices: Ham, lectuce, chesse, rye bread. Sauce: thousand island w Black pepper. Meat: Chicken \ salmon fillet.
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted February 16, 2013 Author Posted February 16, 2013 Oh, for the sandwich I described in the OP, if you have more time.... fry some sliced mushrooms in a skilled with a little oil (or cook with meat) along with sliced black olives, then let them sit on a papertowl and dry them decently, goes very good with the turkey/honey combo. It's a tad non basic, but fucing awesome
Emily Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 ...washed them with coffee. is an epic breakfast for a champion.
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted February 16, 2013 Author Posted February 16, 2013 But was it coffee, or Coffee. If you don't pour the pot back into the machine, put fresh grounds in, and run that thru again at least once (changing the grounds each time), it's not warranting a capital leter, but if you do it wakes your ass up.
Password42 Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Grab bread, toast bread.Grab bacon (pre-cooked) and cheese, stick in microwave/toaster oven, warm until cheese is starting to melt.Throw bacon and cheese on toast, add this kickass stuff, boom epic sandwich.
ChancellorKremlin Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Funny enough, not a fan of sandwiches. Not a fan of bread in general, unless it is with food. Can't stand toast for example!
Kashiwaba Tomoe Posted February 16, 2013 Author Posted February 16, 2013 Ok folks, I suggest Kremlin is an alien.
