Basemental Drugs for Legacy Edition

Is there any possible way to have a working basement drugs mod for legacy edition? Possibly an older version or anything that is compatible. If not, is this mod going to be compatible with legacy edition in the future?

1. I would also love for them to create a version compatible for Legacy Edition, though I am not expecting this to happen.

 

2. Is there anyone out there using a version of Basemental with Legacy Edition that's working after the recent update? 4.11 was working for me (TS4 Legacy on a Mac running regular Sierra) but right after the latest update, the game stopped working until Basemental was removed. (I'd open a saved game, go into the household, and then the minute you clicked on a Sim, rainbow wheel of death or an instant crash.)

 

3. Is there a way to not have Sims 4 Legacy automatically update?

As stated on the BMD page (either under requirements or in the troubleshooting section, dunno where I read it), current versions of the mod clearly are not compatible with Legacy - and from the looks of it (I'm using free version, got no Patreon info) it will stay that way.

 

@foxinsocks You can disable automatic updates for all games in Origin's settings. This is actually recommended by users here on LL, as updates tend to break mods. However, since you already updated TS4. that won't help you much now - unless you got a backup of your hard drive from before the update. In that case, kill your internet connection (to prevent auto updates from being installed), rollback by restoring your backup and disable auto updates.
