Intermittent Invisble Body

Every now and then, generally after a load screen, this happens.

Now if it happened all the time, I'd say "it's built wrong" and rebuild it in Bodyslide. And that's probably the next thing to do. But I can't understand why it happens on cell load.

Further more, if I remove and replace an item of clothing, (Real Handcuffs in this instance)...

... she pops back into existence.

I did do a recent rebuild on all the High Heel outfits. I realised that I'd build them all with a pushup bra preset and wanted a more natural look. That's probably where this started.

Another interesting data point:

After I did the rebuild, pregnancy morphs began to show for the outfit. But again (as seen in the first post) only intermittently.

Has anyone got any idea what is going on? I don't understand how this is possible.

Maybe looksmenu bug, have same bug with dead bodies sometimes, maybe because of bodygen morphs

Recently I had a bug REALLY similar to yours, although slightly different.
At some point my character's body would turn invisble, leaving only head and hands, almost like on your screenshots. Difference was in that miscellaneous metal parts of chest and leg/arm armor would be also visible.909292909_Physicsbug.png.1dec24e133e5d7a5941b7c1f217c2638.png
Usually it was triggered by equipping any chest piece of armor. It persisted even when you unequiped that piece of armor, and sometimes it persisted even through save/loads.
What made it special, and not just another case of missing textures or otherwise badly built armors, is that there were several facts that would be impossible for such simple explanation:
1. There was a delay between equipping "trigger item" and triggering a bug, ranging from several seconds to several minutes. In that interval all the things looked as they should be - character was fully visible, all the items on them clearly visible as well

2. Entering into AAF animation restored character's visibility for the duration of that animation, and if manually set to equip them, any clothing or armor as well.
3. Entering power armor restored visibility(at least of those parts still visible through holes), and character stayed fully visible and with all the armor attached through all the sequence of leaving power armor.

I lack knowledge to say whether it was the main reason, or merely a "trigger", but for me bug was gone after I found that I have installed several physics systems(both OCBP and OCBPC) simultaneously and had presets for both of them.
After I made sure that now there is only one such system and corresponding preset, bug was gone.

Maybe that could give you some insight to what could be the cause of your problem.

You were using the open variants of CBP as well? So that's a point of similarity.

I wonder if it's worth going CBP and see if that solves it. Although intermittent as it is, it would be hard to be sure.

I'll have a look on the OCBP support threads.

That's what I mean - you were doing the same thing that I am now.

I thought one of the "variants" was physics and the other collision?
