Need help with Racemenu sculpting

Greetings Dragonborns,

I'm just curious if I can somehow copy/paste part of my face and apply to another face.

For example, currently my character's left eye has a weird shape and is slightly bigger than the right eye so can I just copy only the right eye socket's mesh and paste it on the left side?

If the methods were quite complicated and were to require me use another app to access the nif file, I'm okay with that and willing to learn. I just want to know if it is possible to do that.

Thanks in advance!

Even if you could do that, it wouldn't automatically mirror it.

You can do head sculpting in Outfit Studio, though the setup is non-standard for that.

You can use masking with import to swap face parts from one mesh to another.  Generally the results are not good, but it can be done.

1. Export save ( just create Preset )

2. Load preset ( .nif file ) to NifSkope

3. Export .nif to .obj

4. in Blender ( Tivo ) or 3DsMax ( Babo ) cut face in half and mirror it

5. Save in obj

6. Load and save again

im not good at 3D Modeling i always ask Tivo for it, once i ask @factoryclose ( once again ty for cars ^_^ )

but i ask Tivo about same thing, he just take preset file from me and return me mirrored version

i don't know how this option is called but im 100% sure you can do it with Blender... and im not sure but i think you can also do it with 3DsMax

However he dont play Skyrim, so You can't contact with him :x... he play CS:GO and he work in UE4 on his own "game" lol

its 4 Years old and he already abandon this channel but here you can see Tivo work:

Spoiler

If You are ready to pay for his time, he can do it for You.

or as i said, try with NifSkope and Blender, just watch some YouTube tutorials ^_^

Does that mean I might get a right eye mesh on the left? Like, 2 right eyes on the same face?

Thanks for the response btw.

Basically, yes.  It won't actually be the eye, but the brow and structure would be terrible.  If there is something really out of whack in a small area, you can always mask off the rest of the mesh and just unmask that small area and "clear sculpt".  Results may vary, but if you aren't too far off the original shape, then it might fix it.

Thanks a lot man.

I'm new to 3D Modeling too but I'll try to dig a little bit.

Okay thanks a lot. I'll see if I can figure it out.

Sorry I do not have any intention to against eqperienced modders, but do you really confrim , after mirror (and it work in blender)

work for SE facegen mesh?    if you cut and mirror ,blender must corrupt all vertex order.  and nif scope too. (actually it can not keep vertex order, when import as obj),

So if facegen, nif , vertex order not matter, it may not cause problem but ,it need to morph for many expression. as same as use slider for racemenu.

then without keep vertex order of original mesh, I suppose it never work.  or you may need to generate all tri files, it can compatible for current new face gen mesh.

Of course I do not check each tool (if newest version already remove problem etc), but at least, I understand,  use blender mirror can not keep vertex order.

when you need to keep morph  for the mesh.
