shar181 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 So I've been using WickedWhims for quite a while now, and in the past I had the body mods set up pretty much exactly how I liked things. I had textures that looked pretty good without diverging too much from the base game's visual style. I don't know when it happened, but something must have changed with the way these mods work. For some reason, since I started playing again I've been having all kinds of issues (default body textures missing completely, details not placed correctly on the body, etc), so I've decided that I'm just going to uninstall all of my body mods and start from scratch! To that end, I want to get some suggestions from the community. I need to know... What body textures you would recommend What body replacers they work with (so that body details are placed properly, etc) How to get them working in-game, if they require extra steps. I know that WW has some kind of body-selector feature, but I don't know how it works. ><; I would prefer, if possible, to have one that stays as close to the visual style of the base game as possible. I really like Wildguy's stuff, but for some reason when I try to use that one I end up with a completely featureless default body. ><; Edit: If anyone knows what mod "Breast.package" comes from, please tell me. I don't know what it does, so I can't decide whether I should remove it along with the other body-replacer stuff!

Wild guys stuff needs to have nipples vaginas + pubic hair added in cas….if you have sims4studio you can flag these for random so npc sims will have detailed nude bodies...

I'd have tried that before, but one of the issues I've been having recently is with Wildguy's stuff. Specifically, the nipples are slightly "off" when I select them in CAS. Slightly off-center, and kind of stretched out. They're supposed to be used with the cmar breasts, I think, but those ones... don't look great. ><;

They're supposed to be used with the cmar breasts, I think, but those ones... don't look great. ><; Are you using a skin overlay? they will do that if you are.....I use the better body female top + pixel realistic bottom....they work ok...the rest of better body stuff is broken btw.

You mean the "Hiroki's Better Body" stuff? I'm using that for the male textures, currently. Tried installing the whole set, but it gave me the featureless-default problem. x.x

You get a good amount of customization and detail with it. (It has instructions on how to install everything and how to use it) For females, I use the EVE body mesh, since it looks good and adds in it's own nipples and genitals. (Either use the default replacement version, which will add it to every female Sim for you, or the non-default version which you select with the Body Selector) I also recommend downloading necrodog's detailed feet for some extra detail.

I'm not sure about the EVE body. It looks awfully... "shiny" in the screenshot on its download page. x3 I took a look at the Simdulgence body for male sims, though. It doesn't look bad at all! I'm just wondering whether its properly WW-compatible. Meaning, does it properly switch out erect/soft when animations are running? Is the dick animated? I'm also a little curious about how well the female dick works. I've been using the "Noir and Dark" penises for both male and female sims, which can be a little frustrating to use. I like the multiple size options, but its inconvenient that you need to apply a tattoo to add details to them.

The Simdulgence stuff works the exact same way as Noir's except that applying the skin details is much more simplified. (You can download a "skin match" file that applies a skin colour that matches your Sim's skin tone as well as a "CAS default" file that has the pensis appear in CAS, which makes the optional details much easier to apply since you can see the changes happen) It is fully WW compatible and has both soft/erect models. I don't use the female version, but I assume that it works the same way as the male one.

Just read through what each file does, whether the content interests you and see how it works in game (i.e, where to access it in CAS). Then you just put the files you want in your Mods folder and you're good to go.

I'm not used to Sims modders including detailed ReadMe files for every file. xD I've gotten them installed and I'm testing them now... but I've still got to find better female body details. I might keep the pussy details from Wildguy's mod, and just use that with the default WW top. Edit: Oh my goodness, the Simdulgence girldicks are even better than I could have hoped!! This completely fixed a really annoying thing with the Noir and Dark penis textures, where they would be really detailed and good-looking from the front but then their butt would be like... completely featureless. This is amazing, thank you so much for telling me about Simdulgence! ❤️
