LabelDegree Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 I uninstalled dynamic clothing system to try fix another problem i had but after uninstalling, when my character is not wearing clothes their entire body disappears but the head, hands and feet. I have tried reinstalling my body/skin mods, rebuilding bodyslide, but nothing has worked so far. Any help would be much appreciated.

For it to be invisible the mesh is "missing" (Missing Texture would be bright purple) Your body mesh femalebody_0 (and 1) should be located in Skyrim\Data\Meshes\actors\character\character assets If the meshes are there then I suspect you have a mod that is looking elsewhere for them. Edit: Which is exactly what DCS does. Is there a folder in character assets called DCS cbbe patch? If so, try putting your body files in there and if not, make one and put your body files in there. If your body now appears naked in game then DCS hasn't uninstalled correctly

All femalebody Texture files removed from directory Meshes removed from directory What you say about texture files not being assigned to a mesh may well result in the same thing. I'm not disputing that as I have not seen that happen but not having texture files present results in a purple body and and no mesh files an invisible body. I am an NMM user and never had this sort of issue that wasn't PICNIC related.

I looked through the DCS zip file and deleted all loose files that remained after uninstalling DCS on NMM but obviously that wasn't enough.
Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Are we done helping this guy^?? I don't use NMM, so I'm a like blind man leading you towards cliff. What i would do is manually dl the Dynamic Clothing System and open to desktop, remove the esp and rearchieve it. Install that mod, look in tes5edit with all mods loaded, in skyrim.esm, armor addon, nakedtorso. Should look good. Then uninstall mod. That mods esp is mostly likely what got you sideways with your body as it overwrites the skyrim.esm naked torso in a weird way that i suspect doesn't play nice with NMM. Any NMM users can call me out and install said mod and uninstall, if you don't experience problems then my suspicions are 100% wrong, which wouldn't be first time, as said, never been NMM users. I'm just looking at what DCS esp does to nakedtorso and it seems like that was root of problem for this user. OP, if your still having problems can I see a picture of your nakedtorso(RealLife)in xedit with all mods loaded into it. Skyrim.esm/ArmorAddon/NakedTorso

When done remove the esp from the data folder. NMM has no problems uninstalling mods and removing the parts. The problem, if any, will be with the mod. It seems to me that all the 'dynamic' this and that mods can cause problems.

We want to get nakedtorso good again and that esp did some things to nakedtorso. Cloud, load mod DCS into your nmm and look what that mod(esp) does to nakedtorso, maybe you can get this user going good again.

There is no need to run the game so putting the esp in the data folder just to make it show up in TESVEdit isn't a problem. 16 minutes ago, Heroine of the Night said: Cloud, load mod DCS into your nmm and look what that mod(esp) does to nakedtorso, On yer bike. There's no way I'm letting a mod like that anywhere near my game and anyway it's CBBE and I'm UUNP. The mod has only been around for a few months but is no longer being supported. "If you have missing torso bug it means that some mods override DCS values. To fix it you have to move Dynamic Clothing System - Races Patch.esp at the end of your modlist".

Come on you fricking NMM user, grow a pair.(Playfully joshing with you) I loaded mod into my Mod Organizer and then uninstalled, there is no chance your nmm will allow anything bad to happen, come on...

If you would load mod into xedit you would see why we don't want the esp loading any in capacity, because that's is what is throwing nakedtorso off. You would want the esm loaded because if loads correct info onto skyrim.esm to reset nakedtorso,

You would want the esm loaded because if loads correct info onto skyrim.esm to reset nakedtorso, I didn't realise it had an esm as well but the same applies. Load them as I said and look at what the esm and esp is doing to nakedtorso. I'm on a metered connection so I'm not going to dl 167MB and as I said it's CBBE.
Heroine HoneyCrotch Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 10 hours ago, Grey Cloud said: Put more simply, put the esp in the data folder, That was actually a really good idea Cloud, minus having to swap the esp with the wrong nakedtorso entry for the esm from that mod with the correct entries. Basically screw any of the other assets that mod has for time being, loading the esm into data and launching in xedit would load desired input for nakedtorso,if skyrim.esm is missing it as i suspect. It's a vanilla entry and could be dragged over in xedit if that is op problem.
