Ok i dont understand what i could be doing wrong

I went into mydocuments/Mygames/Skyrim folder for the Skyrim.ini File and enabled Papyrus in that file

I added the logs/script folders in that folder for the logs to go into

I have Papyrusutil v33 installed

I still not getting any Log files.

Once you have enabled logging in the ini file there is nothing else you need to do. The log files and folders will be generated automatically.

The only setting you need to change is this from 0 to 1

[Papyrus]
bEnableLogging=0

Why do you want to enable logging? If you are having CTDs then Papyrus logs wont help.

Yes As I stated in my first msg, I have done the enable. changing it from a 0 to a 1. No files have generated. I have been playing with it enabled for a month now to get them to generate

No don't need it for CTD, thats not the problem. I have a few mods that npc that seem to stop in the same places in the script each time. Most the time breaking the npc causing me to have to load an earlier save. I have even tried testing on a fresh start with as few mods as possible. When you bring up these issues, mod authors ask me for the logs so they can see what is happening.

One example

I have prison overhaul, The jailer will lead me out of the cell. Then stop as soon as she exits the cell. just sits there. You are leashed to her, so you cant move. She is supposed to move you to another place, but doesn't. I am to the point with that where I turned off that mod.(And yes I went back to a clean save before the mod was added when i turned it off)

another example

On my current main game I have gaurd in whiterun that normally sits in the corner in the market. He now sits next to the well and force greets you for no reason. All the Dialog options are basic options the every npc gets from different mods. You can esc out of it. but if you stand to close to him for more the 5 secs, he will force greet again. I have used the console to move him out of the way.

These are just two examples of problems I have.

Those are just examples of my npcs breaking. I understand when modding there is alot of script going, and alot of different ways for stuff to go wrong. Between mod conflicts, scripting and skyrim problems itself. Everything won't always work. right now I am basically trying to debugg all my problems in the game. trying different mods out. Seeing what I want and Seeing what works with what. And I do understand that sometimes the only way to fix a mod problem is not using that mod.  None of my saves right now are serious games. Just trying to get my game to a point where I have Mods that I want and I can run with as few errors as possible.

I know the Logs will not fix all the problems. I just want to get them going to see if these are problems that can be fixed

I have no idea why your logs do not appear. All I can sugest is to delete the files and folders you created and search your computer for Papyrus.0.log in case they are being created in a different place.

Just to confirm the default location, it should be

If you are ussing Mod Organizer your INI files are inside the MO profile.

In my machine, i have it in D:\Games\MO2\profiles\Default

You must edit the INI files inside the profile folder of MO.

The location of the log files is always the same no matter what manager you use.

C:\Users\(UserName)\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script
