TDA Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 To what is needed texture? Â If * thing * Provided to the base body separately, with a separate texture, then you just add it to the body and all. Â (at least this is so in 3DS Max + work in NifScope to add BSLightingShaderProperty)

Groovtama Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.4/Manual The wiki should help you with blender a lot, the information you seek is either under materials or textures. When I tried blender it helped me. But 3ds is more organized in my eyes. Â But for your futa mesh I would just use nifskope and copy over the penis meshes into the unpb basebodies, would be fast and you avoid a few possible problems. You just have to set the correct texture paths in nifskope if you changed any and it should be ready for play testing.

Groovtama Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 (I use mayatola's equipable penis mod and an unpb2.4 basebody for demonstration)  Open 2 nifskope Windows and load the penis_0 in the first and the femalebody_0 in the other, looks like this:    The root of the penis has to be changed to Scene Root otherwise nifskope doesn't know where it has to attach the mesh data to, and gives and error. Result looks like this:    Now use ctrl+c or the rightclick menu to copy the NiTriShape with the Name basePenis over:    Now highlight the Scene Root in the body window and press ctrl+v or use the right click menu (if you didn't hightlight the Scene Root the copied data will be a new root and you have to set the unwanted basepenis root as child of the Scene Root), also change the name of the copied data to that of your body see all the steps:    Save the result and it should look like this    You may need to correct paths to the textures you can do that here and your done:    Repeat the same for the _1 meshes.  Resulting nifs should be ready for playtesting.
sunhawken Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 Thank You for reply I had thought of these but not sure if it would work i was baffled.
sunhawken Posted January 27, 2013 Author Posted January 27, 2013 I tried setting the texture set but it's not working the texture is all messed up in-game.
Groovtama Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I will look into it, I used that method for the colored mesh based public hair, so I assumed it should work for your problem too. Â Just for the record the mesh is showing correctly but just the textures are messed up?
Groovtama Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Ok it looks like the equipable penis mesh copy is not working, used ACBBE - Androgynous_CBBE -FUTANARI MOD- mesh instead. The Copy process is the same as with the equipable you just need to create a femalebody_1.dds with unp body textures instead of cbbe and done. Â Will upload something if I'm done. Â Edit: ok solved the problems ingame, there are three possible ways that textures ingame are messed up, first you set the wrong default path to the textures in the nif, second skyrim sets the worng path in the esms/esps, third skyrim sets a path to textures in an esm/esp but you want to use the default paths from the nif... Â created a esp with tes5edit that deletes the the textures set by skyrim for the body so the default textures from the nif are used. Â See the this link, that stuff should not be used for playing just some how-to do.

[/quote']  Yes the mesh works, but the texture is messed up. I guessing because it has been attached to UNPB body BUT it's trying to use the bodies texture instead not the one set in .nif http://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/7lr6hl  created a esp with tes5edit that deletes the the textures set by skyrim for the body so the default textures from the nif are used.  What path is that? the "player npc" path?
Groovtama Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Jo, I deleted the standard player Texture Set from the Armor Addon for the standard body in character asset folder. So instead of the path setted by the Skyrim.esm, it has no Texture Set attached to (look it up in TES5Edit you see my changes) and so it uses the default paths setted inside the nif, and it works, if you use a custom race you have to delete the attached Texture Set with TES5Edit from the Armor Addon that is used by the custom race. Sounds complicated at first.
