SOS - Alphas - FrameWork

View File

Description : It's a framework to be able to create an addon for SOS via a faction

All NPCs in this faction will equip the schlong & textures of this Addon

WIPAs of current state the mod is fully functional but need testers.

BETA RELEASE : no bug report so far, debug messages have been removed

The creation steps for a modder are easy :

1) Use the SOS guide to create an addon for your NPC overhaul

2) add a faction in this addon starting in the Name with "SOS_ALPHAS"

3) put all NPC of you NPC overhaul in this faction

NOTE : you must put the race probability to 0 in the addon, to not distribute this schlong on other NPCs/Player

You can use Males of Skyrim - SOS Patch as template to have an idea.

Best practise will be to merge your NPC Overhaul and the Addon.

Credits :

SOS Alphas Framework is a Patch for Schlong of Skyrim, so all credits go to VectorPlexus and Smurf

(and b3lisario for the current version of SOS)

Have I question , is this mod suppose to my a standalone SOS. Cause I'm looking to get SOS from one female to put on male player

This mod is for modders, it is a framework.

You can create a standalone SOS addon that will only give the Schlong & Textures you chose for the NPCs you want. They have to be in the SOS_ALPHAS faction you created in the addon.

I've looked at the Males of Skyrim SOS patch SOS - MS Addon.esp in xEdit to make more factions (and corresponding armor addon, armor, textures) so that I can use other different/versatile texture combos. But I'm unsure if things like the potions can be omitted (deleted and the reference removed from the addon quest), global values, relevant formID lists [particularly the racecompatible list] can be reused for multiple addon quests, and if unused, unreferenced global values can be deleted as well.

You can check with my other mod "Lucien SOS ADDon" for more example, if i remember well the potion is mandatory else SOS won't accept the addon.

Thanks. I've pretty much figured out everything at this point. But I'd like to know if the faction rank corresponds DIRECTLY to schlong size, and for some reason whenever I see in the MCM, the size still registers as 0, regardless of changes made later (though the actual size remains as what is ranked, or changed).

ranks in SOS faction are linked to size, but not in your custom faction.

You can do what you want with your custom faction and it's all the interest. (Ranks Alphas in the pack for example ! :) )
