CTD while saving the game

Trying ot save the game, it crashes with this message  https://imgur.com/a/r1DRiIA  (could not load it on server for some reason). Happens when I disable race menu and trying to create a character with ECE preset and then save it. Why it might be happening?

Try this and see if it fixes it

 

load into game, turn off any combat defeat type mods that prevent death like Defeat, Naked Dungeons Immortality feature, that sort of thing.

 

then open console using the ` key and type player.kill and press enter.

 

this will vanilla kill you and force the game to reset to last save. once you are alive again, try saving and it shouldn't CTD.

Thanks for the tip, but instead of loading it just crashes.

so now you can't even get to the game? or it crashes after you do the player.kill?

 

if it is the first one (can't even get to the game), at what point does it CTD?

 

Before main menu loads?

 

or

 

after you select the save game to load, but before it actually loads?

Maybe you should buy the game and / or install it regularly with Steam.

It autoloads and crashes, but I sorta fixed the issue by Racemenu, I can't use the race I wanted, because it's tied to ECE, but at least it's playable.
