Daguy Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 So, whats the plan? Are we going to have a guild in TESO? We are approaching the time of Beta, so best we start discussing it. I'm just broaching the subject, bearing in mind, not offering to create. I wouldn't have the time needed. I would however be interested in joining one if its created. Perhaps a different name to LL would be in order, just to avoid overzealous GMs, but I think it would be cool to have a community on the game, as we are (or were originally) primarly TES based. We won't be able to mod the game, but we can still chat and run raids and the like.
Ashal Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 I don't know that I'd want to be in a guild connected to a sex mod site Maybe on an alt though. That said I'm an experienced GM, ran a hardcore raiding guild as GM/Raid Leader/Main Tank for years on WoW. I'll likely be recreating my guild and "discrete" people here are welcome to join, both hardcore and casual alike. If somebody else is willing to make a LL specific guild... Have at it.
Daguy Posted January 25, 2013 Author Posted January 25, 2013 Yeah, I know what you mean. Hense my post in the Beta thread: Wonder if we will end up with our own guild. I may make a second account, or special character, to join it (as my main account i'll be playing with family and rl friends, and it'll be wholesome times spent as opposed to adult rp and lovers pk refrences whenever we fight a raid boss.) It would be likely something i'd join as an alt, of not a second account altogether. However, I can see some people wanting to play alongside eachother who are friends on here. I'd likely join a discrete guild if an invite was offered. I have no desire for my family or friends to notice the one of the characters in my selection list happens to really really remind them of a guy they saw the other day with 'Lovers Lab' under his name, and then google the name out of curiosity. I wouldn't say 'have at it'. As i've noted in the thread about LL being mentioned in a gaming mag, i'm not entirely sure any of us want that much exposure as a forum. We have five hundred vistors as I write this. But I don't think 'gaming' is quite ready for us. Companies like to keep their names clean and politically correct. LoversLab projects, even though they are player made mods, would make the barbie-breasts in Oblivon scandal seem like a light refreshing breeze. If the media sunk their teeth into it... Well. It could make Bethesda knee-jerk their future creation kits into being practically useless, or somesuch, at the very least taking 'steps'. It might even effect adult gaming as a whole. How easy we are to find is blatent enough, wthout kicking Zenimax in the balls by being an entity within one of their games. If membership was as popular in game as on the forum we would likely be one of the biggest guilds in the game, lol. Yeah, I don't mean an actual 'Lovers Lab' guild, so much as somewhere members can chat and run content together, while perhaps being able to plausably deny association. I just titled the thread badly I think.
Jexsam Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 Call it "The Ellel Alliance" or "League of Ellel". Ellel. LL. See?
Ashal Posted January 25, 2013 Posted January 25, 2013 As i've noted in the thread about LL being mentioned in a gaming mag We were mentioned in a mag? What thread is this? I'd think a better route for us than a guild would be for us to just make a thread where we can coordinate working on stuff together, independent of any guild.
Daguy Posted January 25, 2013 Author Posted January 25, 2013 Sorry, my bad, i meant site. I read their actual mag occasionally, whch is why I got mixed up. http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=14658
Guest Lady Luck Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 if you want to make a guild make an original name Loverslab guild ? , make names like " House of Khron " ala morrowind style.
Funkcikle Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I've actually started getting a guild together for ESO called the Sixth House, as in House Dagoth From Morrowind. Under my new guise of Dagoth Funkcikle I intend to spread evil and debauchery, whilst spouting semi esoteric nonsensical rubbish. I would be delighted to welcome any and all LL perverts into the corprus weeping crusted loving arms of the Sixth House. I need to learn how to build websites n shizzel though, so nothing much is up and running save for my recently added entry in the TESOF forum. If anyone can point me towards good places to find out how to make a good guild website, and cost effective webhosting an stuff, that would be grand (looks meaningfully in Ashals direction) Make accounts on tesof if you don't have them and shamelessly bump my recruitment thread http://www.tesof.com/topic-the-sixth-house
Guest Plastrader Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Will I be able to play with my friends that are playing on different platforms? The megaserver technology featured in The Elder Scrolls Online will allow PC (Windows OS) players and Mac players to play together. Xbox One players will play on a specific megaserver with other players using an Xbox One. PlayStation 4 players will have a specific megaserver dedicated to only those players using a PS4. -------------- I got a strain in my chest whilst reading this... Thanks for starting this thread so I looked into the game in more detail. Will save me a few € and avoiding seeing crappy console UI implementations and more hidious things related to "console gaming"! Skyrim set the boundary of what's tolerated...
deathparade Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 Holy shit i thought you where a spam bot for a secondSmall forum i admin for has been getting alot latelyI would join if i ever bought the game... i mean i first kinda wanna know if it's good or bad iam not much of a MMORPG personAlthough i like hosting my own World of Warcraft server and screw around in there
Funkcikle Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Well, its not going to be buyable for at least another 6 months. If you live in the U.S and u sign up you might be able to get in on the beta test. Euro beta testing has yet to open, as far as I know. Regardless of this , around 10 thousand people have already signed up for guilds.
