worik Posted November 24, 2019 Posted November 24, 2019 I am experimenting with non-human NPCs in dialogues. The dialogues all work fine, but they are not turning to face me while we talk. E.g. my little R2D2 here:  I thought that would be controllable in the race settings => general data tab => the head trackings But whatever I set there, it makes no difference in game  I don't have those issues with humanoid races. Any ideas? Â

I honestly don't seem to remember that being a built in function for non-humanoid npcs. Oh wait- the creatures looks at you- just not any automaton that I can think of unless your fighting them. I'm thinking that would have to be a core mechanic of the game. Did you check how they did the follower automatons on Solstheim?
worik Posted November 24, 2019 Author Posted November 24, 2019 It's nothing limited to automatons. I've got other non-humanoid races with the same issue. E.g. a wisp talking to me while it is facing in any random direction but not me, like any other talking actor would do.
