some sims not showing up in WW menu's

I just updated WW and sims4, also installed the university expack, and removed every other mod but my clothes and hair.

yet it seems a lot of npcs no longer show up in the WW menu, for sex, i tried resetting my settings and i have tried reseting the sims that were affected and nothing helps...
hopefully someone can tell me why its only some that show up.

Sometimes the WW settings data gets messed up, especially when new patches and EP's are added.

 

WW will also reset some settings to defaults sometimes.

 

Best thing to do is remove WW from the game for now.

 

Delete the WickedWhimsMod folder in your game saves to start fresh.

 

Delete your localthumbcache.package in your TS4 folder

 

Load your last save but only to the map screen.

Save As: Test, or New, or something.

Exit, and delete your localthumbcache again.

 

Re-install WW + Animations and load up the new save you just made and re-test.

Wonder if doing an Origin Repair Install might help.

 

Either that or another mod blocking/using menus for WW.

the menus work fine, and the settings all seem to work, but some npcs just dont show up in them.
i removed all other mods apart from clothing and hair before i updated WW earlier, havent put in others since or after reinstalling WW when trying your suggestion
could always try uninstalling and reinstalling the game completely?

Edit: ok so i uninstalled everything and reinstalled it again, same problem still occurs though i found that if i try to play as those sims that are excluded from my characters menu, then they work, can interact with my character as well, but if i change back to my character then it stops working again.

You mean your active sim can't even talk to NPC's?

 

If so, that is really odd because I've never heard about it before.

 

Makes me wonder if either your sim is bugged, or all those NPC's are.

 

Try an experiment, make a brand new sim in CAS and try to do the same thing.

Starting a new game might be a good idea too for testing.

i can talk to them just fine, but as soon as i want to interact with them through the WW menu they dont show up, yet my character does for them if i play as them, also making new characters didn't change anything, though it seems a temporary fix is to make sure that the character i'm trying to interact with is the same age so if i'm a young adult the other one has to be young adult as well, or they wont show up. 

i deleted all of my savegames when i uninstalled, just started the game with nothing but WW installed and then made a new game with a basic sim that i didn't even edit, gave the same result

 

EDIT: after testing it for a good while it seems like the age restriction unlock does not work and in fact restricts age even more for played young adult characters, same goes for the incest unlock for any age played characters.
it is possible if you change control to a teen character to do it with young adults. and incest if the you have a family member join an already going animation between a family member and non family member as long as your character is young adult and the 2 others are as well, at least that what i found when i started testing it out with a fresh game and ww install with 2 newly created families

One more thing to try, or maybe 2:

 

Go into your saves folder and delete the WickedWhimsMod folder, or cut/paste to desktop for now.

Load the game again so WW can create a new one and test things out again.

 

If it still doesn't work:

Go into WW Settings/Sex/Autonomy/Specifics/Intensity/ set to 'Extreme'.

This is supposed to flip all the right switches for most everything, not sure about Incest though.

But I do know the Patreon version of WW has Teen & Incest blocked so you have to get the patch from here to unlock them.

NO the public/free version is different, think it's the same version posted here on LL.

 

Only other thing I can think of is removing all the other clothing and hair mods to test.

I know they shouldn't be a problem as they are not even script mods but at least you can say it's not any other mods causing it.

 

I had a bit of the same problem going on a few days ago.

Invited different NPC's over at different times and it didn't matter if I flirted, and went through all the romance things, they still would not ask for sex.

Nor would my sim ask them either, I moved one of them into my household and noticed that female sim had the 'Extreme Lust' buff so she was more than ready.

Had to exit game clear the cache and reload and that active sim was still frigid.

Checked all her traits just to make sure and they were OK.

Think I remember trying manual sex with some of them and they were not listed as available either, even though invited over.

Townies that lived in households were always OK, but some of the NPC's were untouchables.

Although not all of them, some of the others seemed fine.

 

Got a feeling it's a game bug/WW bug combination.

Problem seems to have stopped after some time passed but will continue testing.

I had a few other script mods I removed thinking they were affecting sims, might have been the case but it wasn't just suddenly working after removing them either.

 

The problem, more or less, just stopped happening, haven't tried any newer NPC's yet so I can't confirm it's fixed yet.

BTW I'm still on pre-patched game and WW 145f.

hmm, yeah thats what i did when i reinstalled the game, fresh save, fresh install and only mod was WW which i had just redownloaded

 

yeah thats exactly how it is for me!

updated my game when i installed the university pack a few days ago, and havent seen any updates since, current ww version is the 22nd of november version not sure what update number that is..

Sounds right, WW should be 147e then.

 

Updated my game this morning and a few mods: WW, MCCC, Basemental, and a few of LittlMsSams.

Noticed WW changed a few of my settings again so I had to hunt them all down and fix.

Noticed my sims were running off lot to have sex elsewhere, lol.

Only ran for an hour but everything is working fine so far.

Don't have DU yet and probably won't for some time so maybe that's the difference IDK.

 

Still have to go hunt down some newly created NPC's to test out.

Most of the older NPC's seem to be OK it's just the newer ones that were doing it, or should I say, not doing it. 

 

Edit: My Sim went to the Sky Lounge and after some time passed my sim just walked over to a stranger NPC and they had auto sex on a toilet.

Never seen her before and had never met.

 

Another NPC there I knew somewhat and tried everything and she was a no go.

So my sim went home and dragged her along and the went to the bedroom to chat, door locked now.

That NPC happened to be an Alien but flirting, watching porn, and chatting for hours had no results.

She even had the pink glow and both were very flirty, nada.

Finally used the new WW menu in romantic 'Have Sex' and that did the trick, but autonomous sex wouldn't trigger at all even with romantic talking.

 

Update: Next day my sim invited that stubborn NPC over to visit and it didn't take even a minute before they went to bed.

Maybe she just needed a reset from a game exit and reload.   

 

So there is something strange going on anyway.

However manual mode does still work and no trouble with them being unable to select.

i cant really seem to get it to work but it seems like its just my game then, might fix itself later on when the game or mod gets an update

WW also has another update too, but always keep a few older versions around just in case.

Hard to revert back if you delete them.

 

Not sure what's up with your game, sorry.

My sim was just visiting a different Disco club and had another stranger NPC only 2 days old grab my sim for sex outside the place.

 

As a note: I had to replace the Sand Bar in Sulani because sims wouldn't have auto sex there at all.

Same thing with the Nightclub Narwhal Arms in Windenburg.

Couldn't find the originals so I found a couple off the Gallery and dropped them into my game and now they work again, go figure.

Either the lots, or the buildings, had some bugs I guess, no cc lot traits or cc objects were ever used in them except for some Basemental items, which I replaced with the new lots.

Having this same issue. If it helps. the only one that is missing from the menus that I know of is Tina Peeping.

Why can't servos use the WW animations? I had a sim do it withthe servo Nix Socket in WW animations, he turned 'human' during the act and she actually got pregnant by him lol but then I updated to the most recent version and ever since then, servos can't do the WW animations, they don't show up for my Sims to do it with, they can woohoo in the normal Sims ways, but that's boring lol

yeah but in this case it was the wife who lived on the lot the first try, and new sims that were invited to stay all the other tries

i've been having the exact same issue

My sims are an engaged couple and it's not working for them. Someone came to the door and it offered for the both of them to have sex with that person but not each other. Even when he left, it says no sims available for the interaction.
