I don't express myself about vortex cause i am not experienced enough...always used it without problem until now i don't know if vortex and loot sorting is different what i know is loot does not apply changes to vortex sorting so i assume loot find vortex acceptable (it's just an hypotesis)

what do u mean by starting "LOOT Program not just a client"? i have loot installed, it check/sort load order and evaluate problems

Some Mod manager have a loot client integrated. If you klick on loot in that mod managers they use the client to sort the loadorder. You just get a loot sorted load order and thats fine the most of the time. But you don't get the additional information about the behaviour of some mods when they are installed together that you will see when  you use the loot-program. I did remember you could use both in vortex, a loot client or you could install the full version of loot.

Vortex and many other managers have a problem. When you install mod a, mod b and mod c and all 3 change the same file and then you decide you don't want mod b any more they got sometimes a problem to remember which version of the changed file they have to use and go back to version a when it should have left alone because the last version is from mod c. That looks not difficult for 3 mods and one file to remember which mod which file manipulated, but don't forget in skyrim there are thousends of files and sometimes more than one mod that modify the same file and when you deinstall a mod or more than one mod some manager are just overstrained to remember which version of a file is the correct one to use. And don't forget - there is a cause nexus says that vortex have beta-state and not final state.

Looking for relevant info on it, remember certain programs/files getting messed up from this, can't remember if skse is one of them, currently looking

Edit: i just read steam workshop mods get removed with this, so if you have anything from there definitely read up before trying. I have cleared my dl cache a few times without problems.

So you have WB, Vortex and LOOT all trying to sort? Use one.

Wb doesn't sort, just check , vortex should use loot sorting system from what i read, and loot is loot
