I am going to tidy my mods folder. put all my clothing in what follows sims4/mods/clothing. my question is will this stuff up the games and ill have to re apply outfits?

so like moving the directory of the mods. will all the outfits gets lost etc

No you can safely move clothing, hair, makeup, nails, etc. to a folder with the same related names.

Number of folders deep doesn't matter.

 

But script mods, like WW, Basemental, MCCC, etc., can only be 1 folder deep inside Mods, although you can name them whatever you want normally.
