JafK1 Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 So I am trying to convert an outfit to CBBE 3BB but the outfit won't conform to the sliders. Here is what I did... 1 Loaded the outfit in OS 2 Loaded reference and selected the 3BB 3 Conform all sliders and copy bone weights 4 Move some of the sliders form 0 to 100 to make sure they are working 5 Save project When I batch build the reference stays at 0 while the outfit has conformed to my desired shape. but when I load in default CBBE reference the conversion works as intended. How do I fix this? Spoiler
greenmango12 Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 I often see same issue, when convert CBBE outfit to non default CBBE body, (eg I sometimes customize body then make it as new name project) what I found is,, after exchange reference body (then copy weight or remove un-usable mesh) try change name of reference body to CBBE. do you use MO2 etc? anyway,, 1, >load your CBBE outfit project which you hope to convert in OS 2. >load reference.. but do not choose from Template, try From file, then select SE 3BBB OSP. Like this pic. 3 as you can see,, if you import so,, you must see, Shape name set as Baseshape. 4 after you confirm all slider work,, and copy weight, or remove un-necessary mesh etc Rename the Baseshape (reference mesh) to CBBE 5 Then save project. correctly (so please test as new -saved data) I do not know if it MO2 issue,, but only when I convert so,, and rename the body as CBBE then save,, all slider work for body too (in BS) and actually it work for me.. Btw it is not only about 3bbb, eg if I made custom body,, from CBBE,, (tweak) then save as new out-fit project, with new slider,, if there is only body ,, it work in BodySlider too.. but if I hope to convert cloth for my custom new body (name as TZ-CBBE etc),, I must need all step which I discribed. (rename my reference body to CBBE when I convert out-fit,, then save project,, so I can see out-fit and my new custom body change with slicer correctly,, or I often see, just out-fit change with morph,, then body keep as zero morph. So I do not use "template" when convert and load reference body in OS (though it is already named as CBBE author modified so but,, for me it not worked as I expected) then I must rename if reference body is not CBBE (I do not install uunp slider etc,, so for me the way work with 3bbb) in this pic, I use custom 3bbb body,, which add some new slider,, but it work as same default 3bbb too. if I do not make so (my discribed way),, I actually see your problem (only out-fit change but body not follow) about same out-fit project. (convert for default 3bbb from CBBE ) of course I check in OS,, and set reference body,, conform all etc, it actually work in OS. , but in BS your discribed way not work for me. and if I Open saved project, I see same problem in OS too. (so in OS only out-fit chane,, as if slider data are disapeared about reference mesh only) I know myway it not formall,, so I do not recommend all,,but if you can not find more good way,, try it.. Though I think,,, there should be more formal way though.. it is hard to ask BS team with detail in english, about this problem. so I have never asked it. (why it not work etc)
