Dragoncoc696969 Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 I can only get either GTX 750 Ti 2GB or GT 730 4GB for heavily moded skyrim, which one is better?
kapete Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 Get the 750. 730 isn't really made for gaming at all. Either isn't gonna be enough for heavily modded with enb anyway but you can get it work by choosing mods carefully.
spoonsinger Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 The 2GB on that 750Ti is going to be your downfall if using LE Skyrim. Especially if heavily modded. That said heavily modded might mean that you have downscaled all your textures to half HD.

Cz i tend to run out of ram with GT 710 at the moment. 8 hours ago, spoonsinger said: The 2GB on that 750Ti is going to be your downfall if using LE Skyrim. Especially if heavily modded. MadMansGun Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-750-Ti-vs-Nvidia-GeForce-GT-730/2187vsm12582 so either get the 750 or go to ebay and find something more powerful.

GPU memory is one thing, compute power is another you need the memory to hold textures - if you use smaller textures you wont need as much memory to render frames you need compute power so if you want nicer ENB then you need faster GPU, not necessarily one with more memory geforce 710 has 2gb memory apparently... do you use texture packs? and is rx 460 4gb out of question?
Sladen2019 Posted October 30, 2019 Posted October 30, 2019 If you are still using the same power supply that came with your PC, I'd upgrade that first. Many people blow their PSU when they try to upgrade their GPU.
