Crash Fixes causing CTD when equipping armor

When I have Crash Fixes enabled, and I equip This Armor, I immediately get a CTD.  As soon as I turn off Crash Fixes, I can equip the armor with no problem.

I have reproduced this with a minimal mod build:

I have attempted to solve this by using Optimizer Textures on every texture in the mod, as in the past this has solved issues with Crash Fixes blocking un-optimized texture loads, but it did not help in this case.

Anyone else seen anything similar?  Anyone have any advice on what else to try?

that sounds like something going on with a mesh or HDT physics.  you didn't get some backport from SSE, did you?  run it through nif healer.  you didn't link to the armor either, it just asked me download it and I'm not doing that.  sounds like crash fixes is doing its job, but it's never given me any grief over textures.  what kind of textures are you running in your game?  8K/4K?  might be time to consider 2K/1K if that's the case.

you used the phrase "un-optimized texture loads".  why would you want to have 'un-optimized texture loads' in your game in the first place?  that seems like something I would be doing my utmost to avoid having in skyrim.

This is a UUNP port of Aradia Leather Thief.  It's hosted on LoversLab, it was an attachment to a thread, and links to posts just never work -_-

But, if you insist, here's the best I can do.

This mod is for LE, not SE.  I don't think the textures are hi-res, but when I ran them through Optimizer Textures anyway they compressed.

I've seen issues before where textures would not load when Crash Fixes was running.  Like, you get a purple texture as if the texture file was missing.  But if I turned off Crash Fixes the textures came back.  Or if I passed them through Optimizer Textures first then Crash Fixes would let Skyrim display the textures.  However, despite compressing the Aradia textures, I still get CTD the instant I equip.  But if I turn off Crash Fixes, I can equip the armor just fine...

What is NIF Healer?  I built the meshes in BodySlide...

Is the first time i read Crash Fixes give problems with the textures. Some thing is bad in your configuration.

I download your mod, installed it in MO2, run BodySlide, start a new game, get the armor with AddItem...

I have Crash Fixes 12 enabled and i can equip the armor whitout problems. Of course, i have CBBE body and look bad, but seems the problems are not in Crash Fixes or the armor.

This is the UUNP version with CF 12 installed. As you can see it works.

My advice would be to get rid of it. It looks shit, is only one armour and has six or more parts.

Ignore what the fool said, there is nothing wrong with UUNP and it has as many, if not more, armours and clothing as CBBE.
