Need advice with body mods

OK, I've taken the plunge and got TS4 (no additional packs yet, just base and the 2 that came as part of the digital download through origin access).  I've added numerous mods from here (WW and related, of course being the primary ones ? ) and all seems to be working nice.  But I need advice.  I've come from the world of Skyrim/Fallout where (especially lately) the body choice was basically UUNP vs CBBE (with ADEC thrown in on OldRim).  Simple.  Pick one, bodyslide to taste, enjoy.  TS4 has confused me with the various options and the mix & match ability.  For males I have decided on Noir's Pornstar.  Seems to work fine.  My issue is with the female body.  I started out using Eve (version 6 I believe) but noticed a couple of issues that were really irritating:  breast shape on larger breasts sizes (basically badly shaped torpedoes) and the nipple placement (using the Eve skin) did not match up to most (if not all) of the piecing mods I installed (which appears to be all available on LL ?).  I've looked at the some others body mods and frankly got somewhat confused.  Default VS Standalone?  Default body in CAS but choose something else through WW?  What I'm looking for is a suggest for a single body mod or a combination that will get me:

 

1)  Better shaped larger breasts (saw Heliotropic Heavy Boobs  and that seems to be the right directions, but again so many caveats).

2)  good lower body.

3)  Is default body so that I can see the design directly in CAS.

4)  Good skin texture

5)  Nipples with appropriate placement that matches both the body mesh and nipple piercings.

6) applies to all NPCs as well.

 

Seems simple, but the top vs bottom vs standalone vs default vs ... aaaaaaaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhh.  Anyway, I am not looking for any arguments or slagging off of any particular body type (coming from Skyrim and seeing the constant UUNP vs CBBE arguments was always depressing).  I did like the Eve body, just wasn't right for me, and maybe I had something wrong in my setup so maybe I wasn't doing something right.  Anyway, thanks for any guidance you guys can give.

I went through the same thing over a year ago coming from Skyrim, I used CBBE, lol, but only because it had more content I suppose.

 

Still a bit confusing even after a year of playing around with them.

Others here are way more knowledgeable than me about the body parts & skins/overlays. 

 

Wicked Whims has it's own default bodies built in with default details.

I use Allures Sopour Tops with WW bottoms, Sims body parts are Tops & Bottoms, and other things like maybe Tongues.

You normally have to use the WW body selector in game to change them to something else; non default.

CAS selection doesn't always mean sims will look/use the same thing in the game, confusing I know.

 

I also use Wild Guys Female Body Details as they add more variety to female nipps and furr, and those can be chosen in CAS only.

Basically they're just tattoos/overlays, but the nipps won't always align with all top meshes/body shapes.

They work with WW, Sopours, and a couple others I can't think of ATM.

Better Bodies has some code issues and is kind of obsolete but some still use it anyway.

Noirs Penis is good but I also really like the newer Simdulgence(sp) penis mod as it has a bit more variety and looks nice too. 

Female Bottoms are mostly the same to me except for maybe the butt and hip shapes but I'm not real picky.

 

Biggest problem is the Sims have no decent breast slider mods.

Yes in CAS you can go up-down & big-small, but no other 'shape' sliders are available.

Thinking it's a game limitation lacking all the bones needed or something.

I've always wanted a way to make banana boobs and other different breast shapes like some of the other games.

 

Still don't understand how to use/add prettier female skins, and not just adding 150 diff. skin tones either.

(Sims faces are smooth and pretty but the body parts aren't matched in the same way)

WW and others are just more realistic looking body parts I suppose.

Maybe I just haven't found the right tops & bottoms that have the prettier/fantasy skins.

I know you can get some really weird looking sims if you mix and match the wrong parts, or use too many defaults at the same time.

 

If you also use MCCC you can edit any sim in game/CAS on the fly, but you have to change some settings first, and that's a whole diff. topic.

After editing a hundred townies/NPC's I hate to start a new game and have to do it all over again.

I've done this several times already

CC hairs, makeup, eye lashes, nails, etc., make a huge difference on the sims looks.

 

Basemental Drugs also adds some more cool things to the Sims.

Thanks for the info.  I too was a CBBE user with SSE and FO4, although with Skyrim LE I was an ADEC devotee until the updates dried up (and like you said, the content for CBBE and UUNP with LE was just overwhelming).

 

As for males:  I hadn't seen Simdulgence  previously (it's not listed under the WW body suggestions which I was using as a guide).  That one looks interesting.  Taking a look, it seems that since both Pornstar Cock and Simdulgence are non-default, I should be able to have both in-game and see what they look like.  Like the body hair with Simdulgence, although I'd like to find a complete body, something like Robin Williams-level body hair.  But I digress...

 

For females:  I've got the Wildguys FBD installed already (that's 1 that everyone seems to agree is needed).  Last night I tried using the Heliotropic Heavy Boobs mod with the skin it recommends ( Smoothish II Skin by Luumia ).  I was able to create much larger boobs for the test sim without the torpedo-style I ended up with using Eve.  And I must have me the big boobs.  I haven't check to see if piercings, etc work well with it and are placed properly, but looked promising.  I'll take a look at Sopours, although it claims that FBD doesn't work with it (incompatible placement) but the Sopours download actually has replacers for FBD (and some of the outfits) that work.  Still a work in progess...

 

Again, thanks for the info.  I'll be playing around more with it this weekend so we'll see what happens.

Did some more digging around about skins.

 

Turns out many custom skins will disable the use of EA makeup, or maybe even CC makeup IDK.

 

Learned that skin-overlays are usually fine with using makeup, and using several non-defaults is OK and can be set for each sim in CAS.

Basically they just add shadows and highlights to the EA default bodies/faces and don't mess up the body details cause they don't have any meshes.

 

Trying out RemusSirion 16, 17, and 18 overlays now and they seem to be working fine with all my existing body parts.

 

Think there are some male hair tattoos/overlays that have lots of body hair.

Can't remember if they were Luminas or Noirs though.

 

Have you tried just using the default WW body with the heavy boobs mod yet?

I don't use any body mods (or sliders) or skins except for stock WW and FBD.
For my tastes, this checks off all 6 of your requirements.

All my NPCs are randomized by WW and FBD and look great.

 

Coming from Sims 2 with multiple tops/bottoms/meshes/skins etc, I decided to simplify.

These are the 6 female family members I created using the heavy boobs and luumia skin (nice blended family).  I like the shape of the boobs.  1 thing I noticed is that in cas the boobs were a little smaller than how they appeared in game.  I have 1 example with the clothes on for 1 sim.  Need to download 3rd party clothes and see if they work with these larger breasts.  Still playing around with some options (there are some suggested downloads in the Heavy Boobs mod that look interesting).

I should have scrolled down further when I download the female Luumia skin.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Almost - I like my sims boobs much bigger for certain characters (moms, aunts, pornstars, etc.)

Well it looks like you have it mostly set up how you like it anyway but I totally forgot about the special clothing needed for the bigger boobs.

So far so good.  Thinks look fine with the Heavier Boobs mod.  One thing that is still bugging me is more game-related.  I have not been able to find a way through either WW or another mod to add jewelry/clothing like nipple piercings when the Sim gets naked.  I know you have modify clothing sets (swimming, athletics, parties, etc).  I found a post somewhere here that seemed to explain some roundabout way to do it, but no mod and nothing in WW that I could find.  (And stupid me did not bookmark the post...)
