Who controlls Actors Mood? Strange moods seen

Hi,

I'm trying to find out which mod controlls the actors mood setting during sex and how it is chosen. I have seen some weird things for example: a happy rape victim and a sad rapist  or a cons. animation that starts with dialogue surprised and ends with dialogue sad. Usually cons are dialogue happy, sometimes even  mood happy.

So, how does the entire system works?

A good start would be to check the SLF's (SexlabFramework) MCM for longer than 1 minute ;D

You can set moods (facial expressions) in SLF MCM for top and bottom.

The played face expressions are also depending on the position of the actors in a SL scene.

This can create odd situations if you change the actor positions in a SL scene while it's playing.

SD+ for example messes up the positions of rapist and raped, this in turn makes the slave to look happy while the master looks sad.

If you change the positions while the SLscene is running the facial expression stay even after you changed actor positions.

If you have a mod like head tracking + facial expression or one that changes facial expression during dialog or while interacting with something, it can overwrite the SLF mood settings.

A mod that makes your PC automatically smile if a NPC is in close proximity, will try to force that face expression during a SL scene too.

I have no mods messing with the face expressions. No SD+ or others, just dialogue mods to start the scenes. I know I can set the expression manually but thats not what I was looking for ^^

Is the expression chosen by the framework or the mod that starts the scene? And has every NPC his own expression settings?

Oh!

What are you exactly looking for?

For example, SD+ only chooses the position of the actors in a scene and filters possible SLscenes with tags, while SLF adds the expressions according to the initial position and triggered SLanimation (depending on the tags of that animation, for example aggressive/consensual...).

SD+ was meant as an example how other mods do it too, because I can't see your LO.

Also there are replacers for SL face expressions here on LL.

I'm looking for an explanation how the expressions in a scene are choosen and who does it. You said the expression is choosen by the framework based on animation tags but that is too easy^^ What tag would be  dialogue surprised   for example.  Another example is a Defeat combat rape. The aggressor is usually angry and the victim sad but sometimes the victim is happy. Is that happening because of DEFEAT or who controls the expressions?

It is mostly accurate.

Sexlab chooses expressions based on whether the character is male or female and whether they are in a scene marked as aggressive.

The Expressions tab in Sexlab controls all of this.

Now I have a question too:

If more than one mood type is activated in SLF for the victim, does SLF choose the mood randomly?

I mean you can have sad, pained, angry, fear for the victim, but SLF can pick only one.

Near as I am aware, yes, though it is tough to test "random" things that way.

Do you know why actors expression changes during some animations? It mostly happens with animations that combined for example oral and vaginal sex.

They're designed to change.  I think the update loop on it is around 10-15 seconds.  That wouldn't be specific to any type of animation.
