Leytra Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 My skyrim has developed a habit of crashing when, and only when, I go through a door. And I do not mean loading the cell, but going though any door. If, to enter an area, I use COC instead, it works perfectly fine. But if I use a door, there's about an 80% chance of crashing. Can't see any consistent things at the end of papyrus logs, so in general I have absolutely no idea what's going on. I know TMI, right? Anyway, the most practical suggestion I found was to move Simply Knock to the end of your load order. I can't promise a thing but that's what was said.

Unfortunately that didn't seem to have helped. The worst thing? I don't even want to bloody use Simply Knock, it's just a requirement for sexlab survival, so if that's what's causing the issue, imma be very much irked.

Well, if you look at the Support Thread, there are more complicated recommendations made. Of course, as you point out, I don't KNOW that Simply Knock is your issue.

Don't let your PapyrusUtil 3.3 be overwritten by Simple Knock or SLF Also check those mods if they can cause issues: 91 5b Sneak Tools.esp => lots of issues with that one, check forums for patches/solutions 92 5c Sneak Tools Vanilla Hoods.esp Sneak Tools Vanilla Masks.esp Remove Interior Fog V2 - Full Version.esp 60 3c SkyrimSewers.esp => might conflict somewhere (or not^^) =>I definitely would move SLS below those in LO Causes save game bloat: 82 52 BarefootRealism.esp check if maybe a quest of this is still running: 78 4e DragonbornInDistress.esp 52 34 TKDodge.esp => move over FNIS in LO, don't let it overwrite FNIS files move XPMSE further down in LO At the end it's hard to tell why your game crashes on cell changes If you need this " 109 6d ContinueGameNoCrash.esp " your setup might be already compromised or is missing a stable basis like Crash fixes, SKSE.ini, ENBoost Try and remove mods that get loaded if you change cells to find the culprit?♂️ The more I look at the LO the more I think it can be a LO issue. Check your light mods too o.o Check if it helps if you switch STA to "speak via dummy" DCL can trap doors, maybe this conflicts? Try deactivate trapped doors in DCL
