Hi!

 

Should it still be possible for my sims to talk about the porn they're watching? It doesn't seem to show up in my game anymore. All other parts of the mod are working fine though, so 🤷‍♂️

Does the mod have a feature to allow leaving the TV porn channel on while the Sim does something else? Like this mod that can turn the TV on to the regular vanilla S4 channels without watching it? I was surprised that S4 TV behaviour seems to be a step back from S3.

I've seen your other messages as well regarding this, so I'm answering all here.
While this mod has "Always on" and "Cinema Displays" (see manual for details), that allows continuous playing of CinErotique channels/videos without the sims being able to turn them off; but based on your other posts, I think it's not what you're looking for as a solution for your issue.

Hmmm. Although it technically isn't what I was hoping for, both the non-interactive Always-On and Sim-watchable Cinema Display does intrigue me, as continually playing displays would make for an erotic lovemaking nest/sex dungeon. Which was what I was hoping to do with the normal TVs. It's just that as I'm hoping to use my own videos and while I have worked that out for WW Watch Porn, only route I see here with CinErotique is replacement.

For some reason, "Discuss Porn Film ..." don't show up when my Sim watch CinErotique channels with another Sim, even though they were made to watch it with me through the "Watch CinETV with .." option, be it non-household Sim, or household Sim (tested by invited to join the household and watch CinE TV at home).

Sorry, but I can't reproduce this error.
I've selected "Watch Porn Channel With...", then added another sim, interaction worked fine, and was able to select the discussion options as well.

All I can think of is that you either missing the PECO_MODULE_SOCIAL_INTERACTION_can_discuss_porn.package from the mod's MODULES subfolder, or one of the sim(s) in question are filtered from the interaction for failing to pass a test check (though, honestly, I don't know what it could be, the only hurdles there should be that they are both teen or older + if they've met before)... sooo...

 

... also, sims can randomly "bug out" as well... try saving your game with "Save As" into a new slot, then load that one in, sometimes that cleans up issues for some reason.

It depends, you can set the 3 Always on Displays to play certain channels by choosing the appropriate swatch while placing it in BuildBuy; while Cinema Displays at the moment can only be filtered by orientation.

There are three decorative Always-on Displays available, - Plasmatron, Monolith and a frameless one.
All of them can be configured to show content from a certain channel, by selecting the appropriate swatch... they can even be muted if you need it so.

Note: these displays are purely for show, they can not be interacted with by the sims. If you want some that can be watched, then choose the new...

CINEMA DISPLAYS

These Cinema Displays are ideal for cinema builds (duh), as you can just plop them down, and let your simmies flock to see the show.

There are two versions of this screen, one is framed and one is frameless. They are the same size and do the same thing, so it's just about which look you prefer.

They both feature 5 swatches, which represent the playlist they will show. These are:

• All videos - this just plays random videos, like the Shuffle Channel does on the TV.
• Movies - this playlist only includes the videos that are marked as movies.
• Straight / Lesbian / Gay - these are - quite self-explanatory - only play content that are marked as Straight, Lesbian or Gay respectively.

They can be found in Build Buy > Electronics > Televisions > 'CinErotique CINEMA display'

Note: you can not "change the channel" on the cinema screens once they are placed on the lot. If you want to replace them with a different one you have to do it from the Build-Buy menu... They only cost $1 though, so it shouldn't break the bank to do so

Hi PECO,

 

I have that same problem. My sims will happily watch porn with other people, but the "DIscuss Porn Films..." options never show up, whether they're in a group or not. I've tried removing all other mods and even CC. Nothing. I then started a new game with a new sim. Still nothing. I redownloaded the mod and some movies. Still nothing. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I'm playing on macOS. (I think I remember reading somewhere that the mac version of the game looks for mods in a different order compared to the Windows version, hence I'm mentioning it here.

Hmmm... I suspect it can be down to a certain pack/combination of packs.
Are you using the new 'Pack Selection' option to enable/disable packs ingame by any chance? That's know to cause issues with mods.
If yes, please try ENABLING ALL packs through it, then restart the game, and try if that does fix the issue.

If that doesn't solve the issue, could you please give me a list of what packs you have (screenshot of the Pack Selection list is fine, you don't need to type it out)

• Fixed a small bug that prevented players without the Movie Hangout Stuff (SP05) DLC Pack from using the "Discuss Porn" interactions.

Ну да, в загрузке одно и то же, но только кое-что обновлено. В архиве !CinErotique_Mod_Framework_v7.9.2_SD_build20251106.zip обновлены два файла:

• MODULES / PECO_MODULE_SOCIAL_INTERACTION_can_discuss_porn.package
• BASE_FRAMEWORK_PECO_CinErotique.package ,

что автор и указал в своем посте выше. Не понимаю в чем у вас проблема, обновление же далеко не всегда подразумевает, что появятся новые файлы, чаще могут обновляться уже существующие. А в данном случае, обновление так называемого MOD FRAMEWORK, то есть основы мода, - это вообще как правило обновление одних и тех же существующих файлов, просто в них вносятся какие-то изменения. Надеюсь, теперь понятнее.

Обновление было, я не знаю как вам еще разжевывать. Таких обновлений уже была куча и еще будет не раз.
