Started new character, she is breathing heavily, and the edges of the screen are blurred out... um, wtf.

As the title said, started a new character (see below for modlist) and immediately she's breathing heavily, there's a strong heartbeat sound, and (the most annoying of all) the screen is all blurry at the edges.  WTF is this? Anyone know which mod is causing this and how I can shut it off? 

 

I'm assuming it's a lover's lab mod because it seems to be sex related (since she's not injured in any way).

Maybe you should maybe read readmes before just jamming shit in your load order like a christian fundamentalist gaining access to Cinemax for the first time while the parents are on revival.

 

Also good luck getting IC, PS, and JK to play nice with navmesh and quest conflicts.

Its DW.esp (Dripping when wet, or something like that) There should be an MCM menu that allows you to turn off the Heartbeat and Breathing and blurred vision at certain threshholds. Or you can just uninstall it completely.

Wrong answer. DW was the problem, removing it fixed it.

I'm not going to read the descriptions on 100 or 200 mods; also, many of the descriptions aren't particularly helpful or informative anyways, it's kind of a crap-shoot. It's a lot easier to go back and troubleshoot afterwards, in my experience.

You'll probably be happier in the long run if you choose either flower girls or sexlab, running both kinda worked but was a headache.

You realize DW is completely dependent on SA, right? right. You being unable to read basic MCM functionality is just the beginning of your magical adventure in "why do my save not nothing and crashes reee."

Sentence 2: sounds like you're just the kind of obsessive type that reads all the little fine directions with enough unearned self-righteous arrogance to think everyone else who doesn't do the same is somehow inferior... good for you, I guess? Need a medal?

Anyways, I'm a bit more pragmatic, I try to balance whether reading everything is going to be useful or not then allocate my time accordingly. Sometimes I guess wrong, most of the time I guess right.

Yep, I figured as much, but there doesn't seem to be anything in the SexLab realm of things that does what flower girls does, essentially - walk up to any other character and give it a go at sex or a relationship based on charisma, giving gifts, etc. Sexlab seem to be mostly: "get raped by a troll after it beats your ass! Get impregnated by an octopus dragon and lay eggs! Discover a strange dungeon and tie yourself up in 15 positions!" Cool too, don't get me wrong, but I'd prefer to start with the basics like - boy + girl = sex.

Over on the Fallout 4 side there were a few options if you wanted to start something more straightforward - proposition an NPC, get sex, maybe get pregnant (if you're female). (Of course all the other stuff is there too). There doesn't seem to be anything in the sexlab side of things that's like that (but perhaps I missed it? Open to suggestions.  )

Actually, I disabled SA and it didn't fix the problem. Only disabling DW did it. Maybe my installation is magic? Or maybe there's more to the story than this one line in the description. Practical testing is always better than reading descriptions, even mod authors may not know the unintended consequences of their mods.

Thanks so much I was blaming aroused in my head for this too but it was indeed DW.

Thank god .....it was driving me nuts

Hello. Sorry for the necro, but are blurry edges only tied to Dripping when aroused? Cause I always do deactivate heavy breathing and heartbeat, but the blur stays even "in a vacuum" when the character shouldn't be aroused.

 

I'll recheck it, just in case, but who knows, there could be another mod at work. Btw, so far, "remove radial blur" mod doesn't solve the issue either.

Well, in one similar thread, (sorry can't identify it) someone called out one of the more "kinky" mods (afaik, the one that does all the bondage stuff, something I'm not into so have no experience with). My own initial response would be like others have said,  DWA (dripping while aroused)
