I am hoping this question goes here.

I need help putting the correct files in the correct path for this ENB.

Fantasy Preset.

I already have the files needed.

But I do not understand the file path.

When I downloaded the rar. files .... Why do I not put in all the Binaries files

from the Enbseries_Skryimse rare.

That is what the readme in that rar. says to do.

But on that rar. I do not see the Enbhost.exe in that rar.

What I have already done is take the files from the other rar. files

and merge them together. Hoping they go into the right folders and path's.

So what I am trying to do in make the Enb one main install.

The D3d9 is not D3D11.dLL

Or do I have this all wrong?

I could use a head that is wiser then mine in this.

d3d11 is for SSE, not LE. Fantasy is an LE enb. Not SSE, as rather clearly delineated from the download site.

You'll never see the exe in the host, because Boris' contract with users stipulates that enb is downloaded from his site alone. So do that.

ALL enb files and code can either be run from the enb root folder OR from enbseries folder, it doesn't matter which as long as you don't have multiple file with different properties.

LE and SEE ENBs are 100% incompatible except for base screen resolve scripting. If you're using SSE, you need an SSE ENB period, end of. The hooks for most post processing elements are in completely different places and do completely different things to achieve what to user would appear to be similar results.

Or do you know a link I can get the Le Binary from? I had a hard time finding this Enb. I had only gotten it through a direct link.

From which directory do I change the Skyrim.ini? I found 2 of them. One in the Documents folder and one in the Skyrim Directory.

I didn't see where or which SkyrimPrefs.ini from which directory path to modify.

There shouldn't be a Skyrim.ini in your Data folder - the one in Documents is the correct one. Skyrimprefs.ini should also be only in Documents.

Ok I see a skyrimPref.ini in the Documents.

And everything went into the data folder. I need to take before and after screenshots to compare.

This is what I have so fare. I added 2 or three files because they were not there.

I made a backup in-case this did not turn out.

Usually, if a setting is not in Skyrim.ini or SkryimPrefs.ini it will just use its default value.

It's usually okay to add settings but you must make sure you add them to the correct section, e.g. [Display], [Imagespace] etc

These should be under [Display]

bFloatPointRenderTarget=1

bDrawLandShadows=1

bShadowsOnGrass=1

bTreesReceiveShadows=1

fShadowBiasScale=1

Your [General] section looks very wrong.

Mine just has the last two entries

[General]
iStoryManagerLoggingEvent=-1
bEnableStoryManagerLogging=0

The other entries in your [General] section belong in [Display] I would guess.

Have read through this

That is how my General was when I found it. I made a copy before I even touched it.

Does that make it ok? Would using Mod Manger and installing mods change that in any way?

If this is the ENB it shouldn't be going in the data folder. It goes in the Skyrim folder - the folder which contains the Data folder and TESV.exe.

Let's try and concentrate on one thing at a time.

1. Delete Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini.

2. Launch Skyrim from the TESV launcher. You don't have to start a game, just get to the little box with load, credits, options, exit, etc on it. You can then exit. This will produce fresh default copies of Skrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini (in Documents).

3. Make sure all the stuff from your ENB is in the Skyrim folder and not the Data folder.

4. Configure the new ini files as per the requirements of Fantasy ENB.

If all is well you will see something similar to this when you fire up Skyrim

So I deleted it and the game started in a small window at the top left.......

So you deleted what?

I'm not a mind reader, you need to explain properly. If I understand you correctly you seem to have started the game from the SKSE launcher. In order to get the fresh ini files you need to use SkyrimLauncher.exe which is in the Skyrim folder.

OK here is a picture of what I have.

I realized the TEXTURES & MESHES go in the data folder.

But now when I run the game I get this after installing the ENB.

I am not sure what caused this. The text for the installed ENB is not showing up like it did the last few times

I had the CTD's.

And the mod seems to not work at all not even a CTD. Which is an improvement though.

Are you not using a mod manager to install mods?

If the answer is no then you are wasting your time trying to get an ENB working. You need to get a stable base game then add mods through a mod manager ensuring that the game remains stable as you go. Once you have a stable game with all your mods then you can add the ENB.

I am using Mod Manager. Thinking of Mod Organizer.

Is it better to install all the mods after the introduction part of the game?

Because I never had these kinds of issues in the past. I used to run Cinscope enb a while back. Got help to make it run but that was years ago when I was playing.

After what part of the game can I start to add mods? Because I had started from the beginning.

SKSE was there from the start along with some others from the steam community that I no longer really use.

less then a handful.

I mean when can a enb be installed?

All I have are the regular esm's.

UPdate.esm

skyrim.esm

dragonborn.esm

Dawnguard.esm

Hearthfile.esm

Update.esm

So any conflicts here from the Files I have shown you?

And SKSE if that even fits into the equation.

I have taken out all my mods and I am still getting the same CTD.

What  else is there to do?

It is just my ESM'S and Skyrim Script Extender.
