Brittany11101 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Hi, So I recently started to look after some equipment for my female character and I stuck when I get to "find some good looking ,long ,lore-friendly high heeled boots" On nexus I finded only some un-friendly one (I mean standalone boots without ,hands and torso armor/clothing pieces). So I wanted to ask :" What mods in your opinion come with the long high heel boots that can be considered lore-friendly"?.

Btw last time your recomendation was great ( i mean that I use "non-devious devices gloves" and by now I doesn't find any glows that look so good) Hmm and about this time. Well I looking for boots that are in CBBE for Oldrim. But I will see if I can do conversion for my use only.

The UUNP release got delayed by some issues getting custom texture support to work.

Actually I still didn't found anything much better, at least nothing that won't clip on mesh ups. If you still search, I think I have a mod in LO with good gloves, could check for ya. 3 hours ago, winny257 said: HDT High Heeled Boots https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/86116?tab=posts Need to check that one out, looks like there some crazy ones in between Du kannst doch einen Mod-Süchtigen nicht zu Nexus schicken, der bleibt da hängen >.< 2 hours ago, Darkwing241 said: I'm actually working on the UUNP version right now, I'll try to get it posted tonight. RedMonika Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 I'm not sure if you need CBBE or UNP Kendo's boots CBBE BS here... Also, DW Boots here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/93069?tab=posts they are UNP but there's really no difference at this level between CBBE and UNP. I use them all the time with no issue. I have to move them a little bit in Outfit Studio and maybe bring them out with a brush but that's it. Once in a while you'll find lore working boots from other mods that work well with heels like some from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/96311 there are several vanilla boots in high heel like Dawnguard and a couple of others I'm blanking on.

Well... everyone was throwing stuff up... So, the OP is wanting vanilla boots to replace CBBE boots? Or needing CBBE boots to replace vanilla? I gave the latter... Confused.

Confused. you're right, the OP text is confusing! for me it sounds as if he is looking for a boot substitute which match the Vanilla armor "lore friendly". I also agree with the other one, many looking for outfits without specifying the body type! sometimes I search for hours around to hear at the end, nope I need that for UUNP, although this outfit exists only for CBBE! this was just an example, that makes me really angry!
Brittany11101 Posted September 18, 2019 Author Posted September 18, 2019 Sorry for misleading :/ To make everything clear: -I look for CBBE boots -They need to be high heeled -by lore-friendly i meaned that boots don't look like there were made in modern times. And that's all.

And that's all. Those I posted are your best bet then... If you have some working knowledge of Outfit Studio you can load boots that are UNP and change them to fit your calf otherwise you'll just have some clipping but they'll work. I use DW boots for its high heel thief boots mainly and get the others from ApoKrytia's Hendo's conversion. This has some nice looking Daedric boots... https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68362 and there's these boots too from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7244 there are good looking high heeled boots from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/96311 Spoiler Also, keep in mind that sometimes the textures can work on other boots. For example, Northgirl's boots texture on Iron boots from Hendo Spoiler I forgot to add that DW Boots has a good Wolf heeled boot as well... Spoiler I also forgot to add that you'll either have to use the HDT High Heel boot mod at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36213 or copy what DarkWing has for his boots under: Spoiler Otherwise your heel will be in the ground. Darkwing uses a 7 in this line but I use a 6 as I find 7 makes your character float above ground. 6 is right above and looks better. Oh boy... I also forgot to add that DarkWing's nord boot's has a texture path messed up (unless this is fixed) this is an easy fix... Bad texture path in DW. This can be an easy fix by bringing up another outfit studio window and bring up the nord boots from the right folder... mesh/armor/nordplate Spoiler Correct path to fix this: Note that DW uses separate parts and each will need to be corrected. This is except for the chain covering part and the leather strap there. Fixed with Sovngard's Steel armor: Spoiler My Sovngarde Steel Mashup

Do you have working knowledge of Outfit Studio? I talk about this in my tutorial below. You can skip all the talk about creating a mashup but using the textures from another mod and replacing the nif might be useful to you. If you use MO there are other things you can do as well without directly replacing the nif... Which I should have included... I need to add that.

I should recommend more mods via link =D Haha ya it's still getting worked on, I'm pretty sure I got the UUNP conversion working but I'm still having black texture problems with the shrouded and nightingale boots. So another slight delay... If I can't get them working I may temporarily pull those two out of the mod just to get the UUNP out there. The whole thing is a learning process, I started out with literally zero modeling experience so each step is a lot of learning (hence the long time).

No worries, if you can learn something from it, then the main target of the mod is already reached! ??? Also for someone that is new to 3d modeling your UNP Boots are already outstanding.

Heel height can be finicky sometimes, it all depends on what surface you are standing on as often the visible surface is not the same as what your character stands on. I tended to go with too high as I felt that sinking into stone was more offensive than floating a little bit. Let me know if there are any you think are way off, I admit some don't get tested all that much.

With the 7 it looks like I'm 6 inches above the ground, which is why I changed it. So, I haven't really played with it... I've been making mashups for so long I haven't really even played the game... lol I love the boots you've done. The nord steel boot the most, actually. I've used them with the Sovngarde Steel armor using the textures from that. Your Wolf boots, TG boots, etc.... They're all done really nice with a good shape. Spoiler

Ok I found some boots in zzjay's wardrobe mod but I meet some problem. I want to apply in tesVedit sounds from "Heels sounds" (and this is working) but I can't add high heel effect. I mean that I can only add it as enchantment slot but this make item useless to enchant ( I can enchant this boots but then I will lost high heel effect).. How can I add properly high heel effect to this boots in tesVedit?
