Error in launching Skyrim

Recommended Posts

So after the last windows update, Skyrim fails to launch through MO and SKSE. I get this error message:

sfdgjsfskysksrfyksy.PNG

Also, Skyrim fails to launch through the launcher, but it seems to just stop working altogether.

Here I go again trying to fix a new problem.

What's the latest version? 10?

Search for DirectX, get it from the MS site and install it. It contains several versions, you just install the lot. Skyrim uses DX9 while your OS and other stuff will use whatever version they need.

Direct X is up to date.

Skyrim uses DX9 regardless. Did you install a shader? If you have two dxgi files or anything relating to dx11 in your game folder remove it..

I installed an enb. Only one dxgi.dll. No Dx11. There was a Dx10 folder.
