Storms of Superior Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 So after the last windows update, Skyrim fails to launch through MO and SKSE. I get this error message: Also, Skyrim fails to launch through the launcher, but it seems to just stop working altogether. Â Here I go again trying to fix a new problem. Â

It contains several versions, you just install the lot. Skyrim uses DX9 while your OS and other stuff will use whatever version they need.
RohZima Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 Skyrim uses DX9 regardless. Did you install a shader? If you have two dxgi files or anything relating to dx11 in your game folder remove it..
