Downloader Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Just a quick Q if anyone else ran into this, suddenly sims cant sunbath, the process is fine, they can apply protection, get tanned etc, the problem happens when cancelling the interaction, game freezes and CTD's within 1 or 2 seconds, no exception or anything, just a strait up crash. If I get them out of the interaction with a reset sim command I don't crash. I had just updated a few script mods recently so removed them all temporarily, issue still occurs. I plan to test further but thought I would throw out there the question if anyone else has been getting this to identify a possible culprit in advance.
Downloader Posted September 4, 2019 Author Posted September 4, 2019 Ok so, idk whether double posting is ok, I presume its not but I figure this is kind of a PSA, I was doing the usual, checking updates for everything, the monkey on the CC users/abusers back and noticed on Vee's HQ page someone said they were having the same thing, turns out its the dynamic tanning system with HQ on, same as with custom pet paint jobs. Since nobody responded I was going to just delete the post but, if others end up with the same issue and don't know about this... Well, figure they would search and see this. idk if thats ok or not.

I plan to test further but thought I would throw out there the question if anyone else has been getting this to identify a possible culprit in advance. ive been getting same thing when my sims are going at it. ive moved everything and then deleted updated everything... nope still get it. been fighting all day with it. im pretty careful but seems today something went butty.
kemet Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 Hi, The same thing happens to me, HQ mod and tanning don't work together. As soon as i revert to original .sgr file there is no problem. Didn't find a workaround yet. Edit: Tried this ; started in non-HQ, got a tan, saved. Started the game in HQ and it crashed right away while trying to load the save... no go either
