hogsmaws Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 does anyone know of a tutorial on blending a texture at seams (see image). this is a mature texture I can't remember who the mod author is as I just had these dds files in an old folder. if this is too advanced then disregard but if anyone knows if this is a simple fix please share with me. ty
C5Kev Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Hey hogsmaws. Double check with either Outfit Studio or NifSkope to make sure the body and feet meshes are pointing to the same texture. The feet and body use the same image, so it appears the feet might be using something different than the body. If they are using the same texture image, then that texture is goofy and knowledge of Photoshop or other graphics program would be necessary to resolve the problem - and I can't explain how to do that here.

Maven? Thought this was for your character. You have a naked Maven? As Elrindir would say, "Nevermind, I don't want to know". ? Um, what yatol is saying is true, so before I'd start messing with this, can you tell me what "person" or "persons" this is for? Is this a "custom" NPC or do you use a mod that modifies NPCs in some way? Old people / people of different ages use different normal maps which could also throw off the specular lighting aspect as well as diff. settings in the nifs. Since this seems to be for an NPC, having more info and all the dds files / nifs for that particular character would be helpful.

Those hands look like they are using a different normal map - like for an old person, vs a standard smooth normal map for a young person. Check the normal map texture for this npc.

This is the femalehands_1_msn.dds you attached via the MATR-tex.7z earlier in the thread. This is clearly got the age showing. I'm not sure this is from Leyenda. I just checked the UNP and CBBE hand normals and none of them show this level of age. Several options are smooth and several have some veins, but nothing at this age (8 in each version).
