Merging Plugins for armor/clothing mods

Can anyone recommend me a guide on merging armor & clothing based mods to reduce the size of my load order? After googling for one, was hard to determine which one is still relevant & reliable to where Skyrim is at now. I keep running into old af guides from b4 SE even launched or just ones where ppl comment "This guide is outdated &/or too convoluted,  THIS ONE is great doe!" so would prefer to get directed to one that people are using nowadays. I'm edging really close to that plugin limit (240 currently) & I still have many mods I wanna get (already got all the gear based mods I want so that's settled at least) so could use some help here.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69905 <This seems to be the go to Merging tool for merging plugins and after using it for awhile I can see why. I would highly recommend viewing the video tutorial in the mod page. I would also highly recommend only merging the ESP or ESM files as this mod's ability to throw anything else together is lacking. It shouldn't be to hard to throw some meshes and textures into a folder anyway provided you know how to package mods.
