simdulgence Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 This is possibly a silly question, and if anyone else has encountered it my searches didn't lead me to an answer. I recently uploaded a file and the forum generated an associated support topic. When I first posted it, the top of the support topic had a large button that said "View File" that linked to the download. I then edited my topic/file to change some formatting, and now the "View File" appears to me as just a text link, left-aligned, rather than a large button that spanned the width of the page. My concern is that people reading the topic may miss the text link, whereas the large button was a lot easier to see. Viewing the topic on my phone (not logged in), the button was still missing so I don't think it's just my account or PC. 1) How can I change this back? 2) Did I do something wrong while editing to cause this (and what, so I can avoid doing it again)? Any help would be hugely appreciated, thank you!
dagobaking Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 I don't know what the cause or fix is. But, I've seen this happen as well. I've seen that button completely disappear after some edits only for it to mysteriously return later.
gregathit Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 it should come back on its own. If a couple of days pass and it doesn't. Make a small edit to the download page of your mod (not the OP of the support page) and that should trigger the support page OP to update itself.
simdulgence Posted August 16, 2019 Author Posted August 16, 2019 Thank you! I made a slight edit to the download page and the button is there again. I'll keep an eye on it in the future and edit as necessary to try and keep it visible.
gregathit Posted August 17, 2019 Posted August 17, 2019 Try to remember to never mess with the support page OP. Just make your changes to the download page and it will auto update eventually. If it doesn't, you can always force a manual update like you did.
