fancybidet Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 I've noticed something new since a couple of versions back (when I installed Island Living). Random townies are inviting themselves into my sim's house and having sex. Sometimes when my sim is at work, sometimes when she is sleeping - and often kicking her out of her own bed! Is this a feature or a bug?

This was at the beach house on the main Island where the Bar is located. Also changed the WW setting: 'Joining sex distance' to (2), in Autonomy Specifics. And disabled the Travel Sex switch. Save game, exit, and re-load. Later on I moved to the other cheaper beach house on the NW island. Not sure which thing fixed it but they finally stopped coming.
procian Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 You need to adjust your sex settings...autonomy etc etc.

It's a problem that's apparently happening A LOT on the residential beach lot you also mentioned. I'm not sure if it's a routing issue or what but it happens to me as well on that lot, and I find it rather entertaining. The "no sex on this lot" signs work to prevent it from happening, btw. Oddly enough this is NOT a problem which is related to autonomy settings even although it appears that way. It really only happens on that residential lot ?

When I placed a ladder in the water, on the front deck, NPC's would swim around the front, climb the ladder and walk through the house and out the back door. As long as I kept the front door locked for everyone but my Sim it was OK. When I moved into a different big house on the other island, the one with the pool, NPC,s were coming in through the back yard even with a picket fence around the whole lot. Putting up a bigger fence with locked gates seemed to help but I did have to keep the one door, on the poolside, locked. So yes, it may be related to routing. Or having 2 doors on a house. The other beach house is more secluded without as much foot traffic so it's less of an issue maybe. Except for the NPC neighbors dropping in and bringing me food all the time. Forgot all about using those signs, but wouldn't it also prevent my sim from having sex?

I am not 100% certain but I seem to recall there is a WW option to exclude individual Sims from respecting those signs. I can't check right now, but I think there is.
