Nymra Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 I hate when mods mess up my inventory, because I usually roleplay that stuff (and I also use the same outfits all the time and dont want to spent long time recovering them all the time). So I ask: - Is there a mod that reliably protects ALL items (or some that I can mark) from beeing stolen in any way? (I tried using Jaxon Protect Favourites, but the items are still removed when I am robbed) - Or is there a mod that allows the to easily "cheat" back the stuff that was stolen or that can store items in a file that I can hotkey back into my inventory somehow? Thx very much. (Background: I want to use Simple Slavery mods, but the mod that I use, Naked Dungeons and also others always rob the player in the process... which I ... DISLIKE )
Yuuen Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 It's been a long while since I've used that mod, but I remember when I did that items being stolen and put in a chest in the dungeon was a toggle? Maybe things have changed.

My personal hell lol

My personal hell lol Do the mods that do this also take Quest items (like Stones of Barenziah)? Are the items constant (that is, they don't change throughout the course of the game)? The reason I ask is that you could make your own mod and make the items you don't want stolen into "Quest" items. Then, when you're robbed, you will retain ownership of the items since they belong to a quest. Of secondary benefit is that it should make all the items weightless in your inventory since Quest items don't count toward your weight limit.

It turns items into quest items. But I still lost all items except one quest item when robbed Dont know if the fault is with the mod that robs me or with the jaxon mod. They at least work like quest items after I mark them, I cannot drop or sell them. But it seems they can still be robbed (most of them so)..

I have never used the mod but if I understood the modpage correctly it was not designed to prevent thievery just accidental selling and smelting. As such, I think my solution would still work assuming you "made a quest" that never ended. Of course, that means you wouldn't be able to drop them either.

Update: I noticed that the jaxons mod works with a short delay. I fav it manually, then the mod unfavs and favs the item again. If you skip that, it does not turn into quest item. The last test run protected all the quest items I set up. The OP still stands, since I am looking for such mods for quite some time and for several reasons, the robbery beeing just the most pressing. (also, some stuff cannot be turned into quest items anyway)

(often) hands are bound and mouth might be gagged
