Sneaksmile Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 Hello :3 I would like to know which program you use to record a gameplay of Skyrim? or rather which program is the best to record Skyrim gameplays? I ask this because I record the gameplays of all my games using 'Action!' and it's a great program that almost does not affect the frames of any game but Skyrim is not recognized by 'Action!' I do not know why?! and I can not make that the program (Action!) recognizes it in any form of recording, not even in desktop recording ... WTF? ... So ... I always record my Skyrim gameplays with 'Fraps', but now the program is excessively slow, it affects the frames a lot in the game, and apparently it is already an obsolete program because the author abandoned the program. The videos recorded are like a garbage recording with Fraps. So ... Can anybody help me? With recommendations of new screen recorders. What you use? or how to use 'Action!' with Skyrim? I will thank you very much.

Grey Cloud Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 You could have a look at Open Broadcaster Software https://obsproject.com/ I had a play with it a few months ago and it was simple enough to get the hang of. I've never used recording software before so it should be even simpler for you. ?

It should work with Oldrim as well as long as you can work around Oldrim's crash-happiness on alt-tab.

Cool! I'll try it! Is it a free software test or is it really free?

I play Oldrim, because the best BDSM and most dirty sexual mods are only available for the old version. ?

Is it a free software test or is it really free? as far as i know it is free to try and USD 39.00 to register. the unregistered version records up to 10 minutes (at a time) and prints a small watermark, while the registered one records 24 hours straight and has no watermark whatsoever. because the app has a small RAM footprint and captures straight from DirectX / OpenGL / Vulkan's stream-output stage, it doesn't interfere with GPU performance. also, it has been around for a while, so there are plenty of reviews on it. 1 hour ago, Sneaksmile said: Seconding OBS. Well, I'll try it and if I like it I'll buy it. ? I do not want anything that affects the frames too much. I love 'Action!' because it only affects 1 or 2 frames in the games and that's great, but it's useless in Skyrim. ?
