Cannot Be This Easy?

From the beginning of my time on this forum, it has been drummed into my skull,"Read mod instructions, do mod instructions, good things will happen, usually. But Bodytalk2 has not been that way for a bunch of folks. There has always been a specific sticky for dealing with the problematic penis fails. And yet, in spite of our strict adherence to the rules, there were still issues. But then I read in another thread that a member was getting normal, erect penises by not playing by the rules. I said "why not"...I built my body in Bodyslide, set my penis to 0 erection and no morphs. Guess what, my in game sex has been normal since. Penises are flacid till called. When called, they are normal looking, regardless of animation pack or specific pose. The npcs stay erect till they redress themselves and the cycle is ready till next time. For those having Bodytalk issues, what do you have to lose..

Or, to be hyper-passive-aggressive since it seems to be a theme for various people to disregard help they've sought to resolve issues, maybe, instructions are written for a reason.

There's also a reason for guides and why most troubleshooting involves knowing a users' modlist and loadorder.

All it takes is one misplaced patch to break several different things.

BT2 is quite simple to adjust to a current install, for the most part, and the current version's even easier.

One of the main reasons shit like this is so common is the various scattered patches and patches-of-patches, especially if/when they're outdated/not kept up to date.
Which is where you get people like myself hoppin round pinpointing potential break-points and solutions for them, while people like @an3k try and consolidate and organise the ecosystem so it's less overwhelming/confusing.

The other main reason is users' with NMM, and/or installing too much at once without testing that the initial couple of mods even work.

Hm. Maybe it's a case of wrong instructions somewhere?

What you describe as the solution is actually the official instruction I got a long time ago and have always done when installing BT2.
