This time, someone sell Skyrim mods (I believe is unauthorized) on one of the biggest Internet community in China, Baidu. Mods total size of 10.8gb selling for 12 dollar (in China currency), mostly outdated. And even more surprising, there are actually some ppl are willing to buy from him/her.

 

Oh, and it contain some of the hardwork of members from Loverslab community.

Reason not to respect chinese modding community

 

not this site , i spot there's couple of them ripped off my friends mods when they sell without their permission , over 99% i guarandamnteed you all their mods isn't worth to pick , i'm not blaming other chinese modders that are registering on this site, i picked guys that made sites like that seriously selling mods are they retarded?

 

you cant sell the mods even when you have intentions of " supporting" the game , there's no such thing as supporting by selling the mods its clearly they trying to ripp whatever they can and make the profit on it thus breaking the intellectual property rules which is a no no , don't they read the manual.

 

the moment i translate the site i already seen couple of mods i know from various sites already ported on that site and they sell it for high price.

having a father who served in the army and was stationed in hong kong for 3 years I feel that people would be a bit silly to paint all the chinese with the same brush. Most of the time you will get what you pay for but most of the time the people you have to watch for are the authorities . the rules I have seen are there to suit them. if you've ever seen the top gear episode where james may and jeremy clarkson went to china you'll see what can happen but when they do manufacture stuff it can be damn good value for money. the phrase you pay your money and you make your choice is pretty apt

I find it amazing that the natural human form has been so thoroughly rejected here in the US. Look at 70s era playboys and other erotica and the snatch patch was celebrated. It was only after the hairy hippies of the 60s grew up and took charge of the cultural media that having hair became a sin.It's funny how people usually grow up rejecting the ideals of their youth.

That's not exclusive to the USA' date=' in fact I'm not north American (or American in general, for that matter). I think that it's simply due to the fact that, very broadly, western aesthetics are shifting from [i']"the naturally overgrown"[/i] to "the artificially clean", reflecting an increase in the feasibility of maintaining one's personal hygiene and body care to higher standards.

Basically, a hairy, unkempt person would kind of clash with a clean and visually orderly environment. I guess it's reasonable to believe that the public taste changes as a consequence of this.

Well, that was a lot of speculation and I don't know to be fair, I just despise body hair.

But there are a few, especially the arrogant trolls who post their works on shy/mnty then declare they're not releasing them to anyone, ever (which to me they might as well be admitting they faked them with photoshop).

 

Of course every region has it's own versions of this, I've seen plenty of arrogant modders throw hissy fits and withdraw their works for the dumbest of reasons.

Doesn't help that places like the nexus reinforce this attitude of self entitlement, and yes it IS self entitlement.

Well you said it yourself, this behaviour isn't exclusive to japanese modders so there is no real reason to bring up the nationality, I think.
