JeanMark Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 View File Barn Fun small premise: this is my first time modding so expect bugs and clunky code, also english is not my first language so expect typos and weird lost in translation phrases. Description: Well since all the bestiality mods are either old, out of date, abandoned or theoretical, I decided to make one myself =P This is made for female rulers that enjoy 4 legged friend a bit too much. Content: For now there is one chain of events about you getting to know you dogs very closely, with a small branching toward the end. Finishing the event chain unlocks a decision for repeatable beastly fun (plus one for switching from one branch to the other). For now it should fire all pretty fast (mostly for easy testing), i might make it more slow in a future realese (or at least by rule). I tested this as much as i could and it seemed to work fine, but i do not feel responsible if this ends up causing a nuclear explosion Planned Content: If this gets good reception from you guys and it doesn't turn out to be a cursed bomb that destroys your pc with bugs or bad writing, i will expand this mod as much as i am capable of. My ideas for now are: - Horse fun (next realese barring bug fixing) - Exotic Animals - DWF stuff integration (traits and similar) ?? - Costum traits ??? - Religion/Off map empire ????? - Breeding (either new crossbreed races or getting to spawn DWF ones, like woman + dog = werewolf/kin or woman + horse = centaur) ????? (? signify how far fetch it is for now =P) Credits and stuff: lockeslylcrit: for all the great work you did on for this community, and because i basically learned how to mod by reverse engineering your stuff =P dewguru: for starting this all ordeal =P and all of you guys for making me do this =P Submitter JeanMark Submitted 06/17/2019 Category Crusader Kings 2 Requires 10
Cheri Song Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 This looks fun, I'll try it out! Just a heads up, "bestiality" is misspelled in your tags 2
BlackDragoWolf Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 just been playing with this mod for a bit a i have noticed that the random events happen a bit to often so in the next update can you turn down the frequency Good luck with everything
Sorgklaan Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Very interested in this, hope you keep working on it.
dominusvenatus Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Works great and also a little too frequently, so yeah turn it down a bit next update or at least add an option for us to decide how fast the events happen
LeeLeeG2 Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 I've enjoyed the BarnFun Mod! And I look forward to future development. I've noticed a few things you may want to look at: 1: The blue box that usually surrounds text is out of place, in a way. The text box is too large and the blue box ends up cutting through the event picture. 2: Related to the first point: There is too much text for many of the events. The description gets cut off. And because of the issue above, some of the description currently overlaps with the picture. If you want someone to look over the text and help with the English, let me know.

Most narrative events in LL mods nowadays requires some form of event window extender (as BlackDragoWolf pointed out). It is generally assumed that if the mod uses narrative events, it uses the extended narrative event window. Both DWF and DZM have these, but in their own form. If you want to use this mod as a standalone, here's the files you need: NarrativeEventWindowExtender.zip Extract inside the Barn Fun mod folder, and you'll have the DWF-style narrative event window. 2
LeeLeeG2 Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Ahh, thank you. I am still relatively new to the world of CK2 mods.
JeanMark Posted June 25, 2019 Author Posted June 25, 2019 Sorry guys life is getting in the way, so i couldn't work on the mod and i wont for a few more days. As soon as thing get back in line i will put out an update. If things go well next weekend, the one after if they don't.
Battle.cry Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 deffinitely interested but there is nothing much happening. three or four mini events withou any consequences or traits. I really miss bestiality content there. As far as i know, only noxbestia did something. I know there is another small mod but aside from one trait it doesnt nothing. so, I really do hope that this mod will be bigger then it is. wish I could create a mod for CK2... good luck.
dominusvenatus Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Hoping everything is going well for you and youre able to update soon 1
Informal_86 Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Sad to see this mod hasn't been updated as of lately, seemed to have a lot of promise. On another note anyone know the commands to trigger getting a dog?
LordSolus Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Just sayin, it'd be real cool if someone remade this for CK3
