trans ?????????????

Seriously?  You're hanging out here and you don't know what that means?

Also, why would you type that here instead of in Google?  Was it your intention to announce your ignorance to the world?

Mission accomplished.

My question (or wish) is. We will be able to play as a trans character or at least meet one in game? If not, well. At least we will mod it?

I read that you can change your gender along with other visuals at various locations in the game world. How realisticly "trans" that is, I don't know. I also don't know if the character's gender makes any difference. If you can change it that easily, I doubt it has much effect.

Changing gender (i.e. male -> female or vice versa). Wikipedia doesn't even speak about changing your gender, but that your mind doesn't match your body. Chemicals and psychology and stuff.

We aren't born omniscient.

Also there isn't much trans content on LL. Some, yes, but most pornographic references to non-binary gender is either sissy/femboy (don't know how "trans" that is) or even futa (which is something else entirely). And most posts assume you are already in the know and don't explain much.

yeah, do i gain any benefit from knowing your world ?

ciao, Star, come stai?

what can i say, he make it sound like his world really important and everyone must know so it make me curiosity

He's just a bit pushy, just ignore him.

I typically only ever see hetero stuff on LL, and I thought the dev was basically dodging a question about a really anal "journalist" that kept asking about it. Makes it sound like it likely won't be included, and if there is sex changes, it's probably on the level of Saints Row (as in man goes in, woman comes out). I just have that feeling not a lot of game devs care about it.

This sounds incredibly stupid if it's not story related, is the character going to look like a drag queen or something?  A character with tits but large bulky hands?
Or does it affect dialogue or anything significant.

Or is it just checking a label in the game when it asks you your gender.

In my experience if such a thing became part of the game, I honestly feel like it is just a check box. If anything it'd be more realistic for the game if NPCs couldn't even tell your gender and labeled the opposite one on you anyway. You know, like real life because no one bothers to actually tell the people, and then they get mad when you understandingly are left confused.

I think games should just stick to male and female.

Considering the trans thing is in all honesty is fake bs. There is only 2 genders and yes the should stick to M/F and no Pronoun BS. They ruin to many things now games should stay strong and not bend the knee. All i wanna do is see Boobs and Butts don't give a shit of anything else, long live nude mods(to bad they're dying out)

The funny thing is, Saints Row 2 is the first game I've ever seen do something like that. If you gave your male character absolutely big titties, they actually put a bra on you. And just like that, you were (technically) trans, the first ever game to do it. And the best part is, no one gave a shit. It was a joke, because social media wasn't big enough for snow flakes to inhabit yet.

I'll tell you right now, if this becomes a thing, most gamers are going to make fun of it the same way all character creation type games allow you to. They're gonna make the character, and it's going to look hideous, and I'm going to laugh, and laugh.

You could also give the female form of The Boss a beard or use cross-gender voices or just start with the opposite base gender to what you end up with to get a transgender character in Saint's Row 2, causing NPCs to treat your character as the opposite gender of what they physically appear to be (essentially 'misgendering' on demand).

And the absolute sad thing about it is that this was done in a game like Saints Row, a series about taking the piss out of everything. I understand it's before every major game dev had their balls chopped off, but it's still funny to think they're the first to do it, and most people actually used it just for a laugh. Comedy is better than just hating everything in the world, and the sooner these people learn that, the sooner our society can actually progress into something else.

The world of Cyberpunk is one where changing your sex is as easy as going to the doctor, booking a 15 minute surgery and getting the right genitals attached. You can buy a 10" cyberdong off the walls of a shop.

Additionally, you can create a trans or even "non-binary" character. This being according to the devs.

furthermore, the world of Cyberpunk is, to paraphrase, one that has progressed past the problems of the pre-collapse America (which it specifically calls out our IdPol culture) and says that it is one more unified, where surviving is more important than what your skin colour or genitals are. https://thetrove.net/Books/Cyberpunk/Cyberpunk 2020/Cyberpunk 2020 - CP3371 Neo Tribes.pdf Page 8.

If the devs are being true to the source material, yes, there will be "trans" characters. Mostly because at that point, technology will have progressed to such a point where your sex can be re-written on a whim. So yes, you'll get trans characters. There's already promo material that they've shown (like the E3 trailer) that depicted female characters with male genitals. Twitter and REEEEEtardEra have been melting down over it for a few days now.

Worst case scenario, people here will make mods. It'll be done anyways, the only change will be the scope. You'll likely have the ability to extensively edit your character even after creation when it comes to body mods and appearance, just due to the nature of the world itself.

Now this makes sense, I didn't understand at first because you can't be trans if you don't change your body.  I guess another thing they will do is make male characters be allowed to use feminine body parts/hair/make-up, and same vice versa.

PLOT TWIST! You can't actually be non-binary because you're all cyborgs.

HA, GOT EM!

Wrong. One of the paths is one implant only, and the trans option comes before that.
