WDRexxx Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 What do you want Michael ? Is it GTA V No it's The Sims 4 : Island Living I know Trailer Background music is Shine A Light From GTA V That's why i'm so existed for new update........
Ingun Black-Briar Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I'm gonna enjoy that one. I always loved the island destinations in the older Sims games, and I had a gut feeling we'd be getting a tropical island expansion pack soon. Glad I wasn't wrong! I kinda hoped for an eco/sustainable living stand alone mini pack, but I'm gonna enjoy the 'green' aspect of the Island Living pack nonetheless. I can't wait for my Sims to laze at the beach, get tans and sunburns and generally have a good time in the Caribbean while I don't ;D Mermaids, I don't know ... but hey, it's something. Caribbean werewolves aren't a thing, I guess.... *shrugs*
wongfoo2003 Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Caribbean werewolves? Maybe you can get them this fall when Realms of Magic is coming out.

Excorsion Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Hopefully it don't come with the lag that sims 3 island paradise came with.... really like sims 3 island paradise but it caused so much lag that I had to uninstall it.

Sims 3 was an open world with lots of routing issues. It's not going to happen

It runs like a charm even on my old potato with a gazillion mods and hardly ever gives me any trouble (if it does it's usually my own fault for blatantly exploiting game mechanics and trying a number of debug commands that aren't meant to go together). TS3 was a nightmare that took 20 minutes to load at the best of times and crashed faster than you can say "sul sul". TS4 has its faults (namely EA.....) but it's an overall amazingly stable game that requires surprisingly little resources and barely ever produces any errors. If it does, the game usually doesn't crash. I commend the people who programmed the game, despite being part of EA. ?

Werewolves, Fairies and Witches. Why shall the go without them this time. Isn't it that Mermaids and Vampires are back already? Even Plantsims, Aliens and Ghosts. Not to mention Skeletons.
FauxFurry Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 The Sims 4 now has something for anyone wanting to roleplay as Tom Hanks from Splash, Captain Planet or a sparkly vampire frolicking on a sparkling beach.

I understand what you are saying.. but back in sims 3... it ran fine until they had so many packs they couldn't keep them straight but after about the 4th or 5th pack that is when people started to have problems with the game crashing and taking for ever to load... and when island paradise hit that pretty much was the straw the borke the camels back... they had patch in a way to deactivate packs so people could still enjoy the game. You can't help but notice... that they are following the same game plan as sims 3 when it comes to packs... so it is not a hard sell to think they might make the same mistake... I for one have not bought all the packs and expansions just for that reason... cause believe it or not... the open world was not the whole reason sims 3 lagged... it was because of all the items the game had to process... and sims 4 has those same type of items... so defend ts4 /ea all you want still doesn't lessen the fact that thier track record is not as good as some other game companies.

Agreed, I run Sims 4 with 2785 mods that is 7 GB large, it runs smoothly at highest setting with smooth 60 fps, and when I tried to play vanilla Sims 3 with no mods at high it got less than 20 fps half of the time.
